AllPoints Fibre adds Sky Ethernet to aquila platform

Fri, 13th Feb 2026

AllPoints Fibre has partnered with Sky Business Wholesale to make Sky's Ethernet services available through AllPoints Fibre's aquila platform, expanding national coverage options for resellers and managed service providers.

The tie-up adds Ethernet products alongside existing fibre-to-the-premises offerings on aquila, which provides a single interface for ordering and service management. The Ethernet integration went live in six weeks.

Channel partners using aquila can now order Sky Business Wholesale Ethernet without additional system development or new integrations. The platform presents Ethernet and FTTP products in one place, with a shared process for ordering, service changes and fault handling.

Platform approach

AllPoints Fibre positions aquila as a marketplace for wholesale connectivity, aggregating access networks and services under a single commercial and operational layer. The platform uses automation and application programming interfaces to support ordering and workflows, with service status and updates surfaced in the same system.

For smaller communications providers, the model is designed to reduce the operational burden of working directly with multiple wholesale networks. That can include managing separate contracts, product catalogues, ordering portals and support processes.

Ethernet remains a core product for business connectivity, particularly for organisations that need dedicated bandwidth, service assurance and predictable performance. In the UK, demand includes connecting offices, linking sites to data centres, and providing backhaul for Wi‑Fi and other access services.

Sky Business Wholesale's Ethernet footprint on aquila covers services delivered across the combined Openreach and ITS footprints. The network spans more than 2,800 Ethernet-enabled exchanges across the UK, according to the companies. They describe it as "100Gb-ready" and say it has widespread 10Gb-capable services.

Faster integration

The speed of deployment was highlighted as a notable aspect of the partnership. AllPoints Fibre signed the agreement with Sky Business Wholesale in December and had Ethernet services live on aquila by the end of January.

That timeline matters for wholesale platforms that depend on bringing new suppliers and products online with minimal disruption. Many channel partners use multiple systems for provisioning and assurance. Consolidating those workflows into one platform can reduce staff training needs and operational rework as new services are added.

Nisreen El-Kaloush, Chief Commercial Officer, AllPoints Fibre Networks, said: "Our partners want reliable Ethernet services, national coverage, and a platform that doesn't slow them down. Bringing Sky Business Wholesale onto aquila delivers all three in a simple way with no extra development needed. It gives partners more confidence when designing solutions and bidding for business, without adding complexity behind the scenes."

Sam Weller, Head of Wholesale Services, Sky Business Wholesale, said: "This partnership is about enabling better outcomes for APFN's partners. Sky's network strength, combined with APFN's orchestration through aquila, removes friction and helps customers scale confidently across the UK."

Broader portfolio

AllPoints Fibre built aquila around the idea that partners want access to multiple networks through one operating model. The platform already provides access to more than 20 million business and consumer FTTP premises through Openreach, CityFibre and BT Wholesale.

Adding Sky's Ethernet products broadens the mix of fixed connectivity options available through the platform. For channel partners, this can support proposals that combine dedicated Ethernet for core sites with broadband-based services for smaller locations, under one ordering and management process.

The agreement was also framed as a starting point for potential expansion, creating scope for additional Sky Business Wholesale products and services to be added to aquila over time.

The move comes as wholesale providers and aggregators compete to simplify access to UK fibre and business connectivity. Many resellers face pressure to respond quickly to tenders and multi-site requirements, while needing better visibility into service availability and progress across different networks.

Sky Business Wholesale Ethernet is available to order now through the aquila platform.
