Adobe has announced a series of new features and updates, highlighting Creative Cloud's expansion in generative AI functionalities.

The company introduced over 100 new Creative Cloud features, enhancing products like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and InDesign - focusing on capabilities powered by Adobe Firefly.

Adobe Express and a newly developed Frame.io also received significant updates aimed at improving collaboration for creative professionals and their stakeholders.

During the same event, Adobe unveiled a new Firefly Video Model (beta) and made breakthroughs in the Firefly Image, Vector, and Design models. These enhancements are designed to increase productivity and safety for commercial use.

"We're giving the creative community a powerful new brush to paint the world by putting unprecedented power, precision and creative control in their hands," President of Digital Media at Adobe, David Wadhwani, said.

"With the demand for content projected to grow exponentially, we're empowering creators to scale the use of their content across marketing, HR and sales teams."

Adobe also announced the general availability of GenStudio for Performance Marketing, a tool included in Adobe's end-to-end content supply chain solution, GenStudio. This new offering aims to optimise the process of creating and managing content for marketing campaigns and offers personalised customer experiences.

In terms of creative power and expressiveness, Adobe's Firefly introduces several new AI models. The Firefly Video Model allows for video generation from textual and image prompts and features deep integration with Premiere Pro.

The Firefly Image 3 Model promises increased speed, generating images four times faster than previous versions. The Firefly Vector Model offers improved creative control for Adobe Illustrator users.

Furthermore, Adobe introduced enhancements to its Photoshop software, including a new smart technology to remove distractions from images, and a Generative Workspace (beta). Photoshop has also launched the Substance 3D Viewer and other generative features powered by the Firefly Image 3 Model.

For Adobe Illustrator, new capabilities include Objects on Path, Enhanced Image Trace, and Generative Shape Fill (beta), which is powered by the Firefly Vector Model. These updates are designed to streamline the design process and allow for more creative flexibility.

On the content creation front, Adobe's new Frame.io version supports multi-format collaboration, incorporating more brands into its Camera to Cloud ecosystem. Frame.io continues to facilitate rapid media transfers required in production and post-production environments.

Adobe Express is also expanding enterprise features to enhance team collaboration and brand protection, demonstrating integrations that enable more efficient use of assets across marketing and other departments.
