Audra Security launches in UK with focus on homes & small firms

Audra Security, developed by Dotlines UK, has been launched in the UK, providing home and small business users with a suite of internet security products designed for simple setup and use.

The new offering includes routers, VPNs, and firewall solutions which are intended to be affordable and easy to install without IT expertise. The product range is split into two main categories: options for household users and solutions tailored to small businesses.

Home protection

For domestic environments, Dotlines UK has introduced Audra Safe and AudraVPN. Audra Safe is a Wi-Fi router with added security features and app-based controls. The system is designed so that parents can group devices and set rules, such as content filters or internet time limits, directly via their smartphone, thereby helping to manage online risks and family screen time.

AudraVPN provides customers with virtual private network protection, securing internet browsing and enabling safe, high-speed streaming. The subscription covers up to five devices, making it suitable for families who use tablets, phones, and computers across the household.

Both Audra Safe and AudraVPN will also become part of the Carnival Internet broadband service, another Dotlines UK brand, allowing households to maintain a secure connection as part of their standard broadband package.

Business solutions

Audra Secure is focused on the needs of small businesses, offering a 2-in-1 router and firewall device. The hardware is capable of supporting up to 250 concurrent devices, and is managed through a cloud-based dashboard. This enables user control across multiple business locations without the need for a dedicated IT department.

The subscription service for Audra Secure is available across one, three, or five-year pricing plans, giving businesses flexibility over how they manage and fund their digital security.

This was stated by Matin Mahbubul, Chairman of Dotlines Group, during the announcement of the UK's product launch.

Mahbubul emphasised the challenges that smaller organisations and households face from cyber threats, particularly where specialist security knowledge or resources are lacking. "We know that many households and small businesses are targeted by cybercriminals simply because they don't have the resources or knowledge to implement advanced security systems. Audra changes that by making security straightforward and accessible, so no IT expertise is required," he said.

Sustainability commitment

Dotlines UK has also outlined a commitment to environmental sustainability as part of the Audra Security launch. The company has pledged to plant up to ten trees for every security device sold. The number of trees planted will vary depending on the product purchased.

"We believe in giving back, not just by providing affordable security solutions but also by helping our planet. Every device sold contributes to our goal of making the world a safer, greener place," Mahbubul added.

Distribution plans

To broaden its reach, Dotlines UK has established a partnership with The Kenton Group, which will act as the national distributor for Audra Security products across the UK. This is intended to make the security range available to both retail and business customers nationwide.

Dotlines UK operates in 17 countries and has stated that its business model aims not only to deliver products that address current digital security needs but also to foster ongoing social responsibility initiatives through collaborations and environmental pledges.
