CommScope, DvSum launch AI platform to boost network analytics
CommScope has formed a strategic alliance with DvSum to deliver an AI-powered platform for network monitoring and analytics, combining their respective technologies to enhance service provider operations.
The new solution, known as the ServAssure NXT AI platform, integrates DvSum's CADDI analytics tool with the ServAssure NXT network monitoring platform from CommScope. This combination is intended to provide advanced triage, proactive analytics, network optimisation, and fault management through the utilisation of artificial intelligence.
Platform details
CADDI, which stands for Conversational Analytics for Data Driven Insights, is designed as a self-service analytics technology specifically suited to call centre and network operations environments. The ServAssure NXT platform, meanwhile, facilitates the collection and normalisation of essential network performance data and information about end subscribers.
By merging these technologies, the new platform can analyse aggregated data to deliver insights into customer experience and network health. This enables service providers to identify and resolve issues more quickly, which, according to CommScope, can reduce call centre triage times and improve operational efficiency.
"CommScope's alliance with DvSum enhances the ServAssure NXT solution by introducing cutting-edge, AI-based analytics to the platform. By leveraging DvSum's AI capabilities, the ServAssure NXT platform enables service providers to more quickly pinpoint and resolve subscriber issues. This solution provides real-time insights into subscriber service and network performance, enabling service providers to manage their operations more effectively. These capabilities can drastically reduce call center triage times, saving time and money while also improving the customer experience."
This statement was made by Craig Coogan, Chief Technology Officer & Vice President, Product & Strategy, Access Network Solutions, CommScope.
Integration and functionality
According to the companies, DvSum's CADDI technology integrates with the ServAssure NXT platform's data repositories and sources. When the ServAssure NXT platform gathers performance data, CADDI processes and analyses this information, extracting relevant insights about both network performance and customer service experiences. This real-time processing is aimed at lowering operational costs and enhancing the overall experience for subscribers.
Aashish Singhvi, Chief Executive Officer of DvSum, described the potential operation of the enhanced system, stating:
"The integration of DvSum's groundbreaking CADDI technology into the ServAssure NXT platform will help approach a zero-call, zero-fault environment. The enhanced ServAssure NXT platform can now harness advanced AI that swiftly detects and resolves customer issues and network anomalies in real time. We see this enhanced platform as a game-changer in several areas of network analysis, bringing new insights into metrics, risks, and troubleshooting that weren't possible before."
Deployment options
Current customers using the ServAssure NXT platform have the option to augment their system with the new AI capabilities provided by DvSum. For organisations setting up new network monitoring infrastructure, CommScope will also offer the AI-enabled solution as a bundled package.
The overall aim of the partnership is for service providers to achieve more efficient management of network operations, supported by improved analytic and triage capabilities. The AI-driven approach is intended to support the fast detection and remediation of network anomalies, as well as provide service providers with deeper insight into risk factors and operational metrics.
