Durata expands leadership to drive growth in data centre sector
Durata has expanded its senior leadership team as part of its strategy to support sustained growth in the critical power and modular data centre sector.
The Middlesbrough-based company, which operates globally from its Teesside headquarters, has appointed Reece Ingham as Finance Director and Kate White as Marketing Director. Earlier this year, Ashaan Ayoub joined as Commercial Director. These three new directors join Managing Director John McGee, Director of Quality Alison McGee, and Project Director Omar Yousef.
The leadership team has now doubled in size, reflecting Durata's ambition to strengthen its presence in the international critical power and data centre market. The company cited the rapid expansion of artificial intelligence as a key driver of its growth and industry evolution.
Durata's recent appointments are intended to ensure the company has sufficient expertise and resources to offer scalable and resilient solutions, enabling clients to maintain operational agility and resilience as demands on digital infrastructure increase.
Kate White brings experience from leadership roles in marketing across sectors including automotive, commercial agriculture, and finance. She stated, "I'm thrilled to be joining Durata at such a pivotal moment. The company's vision and commitment to growth present the perfect opportunity to elevate its market presence.
"I look forward to supporting its continued success by developing strategic marketing initiatives that drive growth, unlock new opportunities and showcase Durata as a leader in the global data centre and critical infrastructure space."
Reece Ingham's background includes financial and accounting positions at Host & Stay, E Catering, and a Mercedes Benz franchise group, focusing on scaling rapidly growing businesses through accountancy and business management solutions. Ingham said, "Durata's growth trajectory is impressive, and I'm excited to leverage my experience and build a financial framework to ensure the infrastructure is in place to support its continued rapid expansion.
"I'm looking forward to working with the team to build on the solid foundations already in place and implement new financial strategies that will support sustainable, global growth and ensure Durata is primed for future success."
Ashaan Ayoub was appointed as Commercial Director to support major expansion plans in 2025 and beyond. He has over ten years of experience in civil engineering and construction, with expertise in contract forms such as the Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) and New Engineering Contract (NEC), as well as experience in cost management and delivering projects for significant clients.
Additional appointments have also been made across the company. Claire Allport has joined as Compliance Assistant, Kieran Fawcett as Building Information Management Specialist, Karen Robinson as Internal Sales Representative, and Louise Pearson has become Finance Assistant to further support the accounts department.
John McGee, Managing Director at Durata, commented, "This is an incredibly exciting time for Durata. The expansion of our leadership team and the addition of talented individuals across the business reflects our commitment to providing world-class solutions and exceptional service to our customers.
"This strengthened team is already enabling us to capitalise on the significant growth opportunities in the data centre industry and solidifying our position at the heart of the critical power and data centre ecosystem – leading the charge in innovation and expertise."
