EatClub launches London app with dynamic discounts at venues

Today

EatClub has launched its dining app in London. The app enables users to access time-sensitive offers at a range of restaurants, bars, and live music venues.

The app, which has gained a strong following in Australia, aims to help London diners save money when eating out. It offers discounts that can be applied directly to payment via EatClub Pay, a digital card integrated into mobile wallets.

EatClub uses technology developed to allow venues to increase offers during off-peak times, filling empty tables and providing cost savings for customers. Users can pay at partnering venues using tap-to-pay functionality, which ensures discounts are automatically applied to their total bill, including food and drinks, and avoids the need for coupons or conversations with staff.

Since its UK launch, EatClub has moved up 40 places in the UK's App Store Food & Drink category, currently ranking 65th. The app debuted with more than 150 partner venues, a figure expected to double ahead of the summer as more venues are onboarded weekly. These range from less well-known local spots to established favourites.

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Pan Koutlakis said, "EatClub helps top venues fill their off-peak seats and get Londoners eating out in the city they love. Increasingly members tell us it's more affordable to eat out with EatClub than buy groceries and cook from scratch - whether single diners, or groups and special occasions - it puts eating-out back on the table."

The app has over two million users in Australia and is present at 3,000 restaurants across eight cities. In March 2025, EatClub reported that diners booked 415,000 seats, resulting in more than AUD $3.1 million savings on their combined bills. During peak periods, the most frequent users can save upwards of GBP £500 (AUD $1,000) per month.

Marco Pierre White, chef, restaurateur and shareholder in EatClub since 2016, supports the app's expansion and potential role in the hospitality sector. He stated, "London is one of the greatest food-destination cities in the world, and empty tables always feel like a missed opportunity. This is a platform that makes sense for the whole industry—diners, chefs, and operators alike."

Among the key features promoted by EatClub are its free download and use, access to real-time discounts of up to 50% off, seamless payment processes via mobile wallets, and the absence of coupons or additional requirements for the diner.

Liz Le Breton, UK Vice President at EatClub, said, "EatClub is free to download, free to use - and too expensive to ignore. No more excuse for Londoners cancelling those mid-week plans."

Hospitality professionals developed the app. Its approach addresses issues such as restaurant under-capacity through dynamically adjusted pricing and a centralised marketplace for dining offers. With its launch in the UK's capital, EatClub is working to feature a blend of established brands, local venues, and niche spots, offering Londoners an additional option for managing costs while eating out.
