Fire on the Hill has expanded its U.S. operations with the appointment of new senior team members and the acquisition of additional client mandates spanning several sectors.

The strategic communications agency, which established a New York base in 2023, has announced Sam Aurilia as U.S. Director to lead the team, alongside Kira Lowe as Senior Account Executive to meet the demands of a growing client portfolio within the technology, travel, education, and energy sectors.

Sam Aurilia joins Fire on the Hill from Touchdown PR, bringing close to ten years of experience managing strategic campaigns for B2B technology firms in the U.S. As director, Aurilia will direct the agency's U.S. team, providing strategic counsel to both American and global clients, as well as contributing to internal development initiatives.

Kira Lowe's appointment is intended to support delivery across high-growth accounts in the U.S. and international markets at a time when the agency continues to build its transatlantic offering.

The agency has recently secured several key client wins, including Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), TBR Global Chauffeuring, and Anthology. Fire on the Hill has also signed an expanded global communications contract with Amadeus, a major travel technology company, further reinforcing its industry footprint.

Sam Aurilia said: "Fire on the Hill brings a big agency strategic mindset to a smaller agency environment, and this approach combined with the the agency's values deeply resonated with me. In today's complex, high-stakes environment, organizations need bold but thoughtful communications, and along with the team I'm excited to help our clients navigate these realities, as well as build resilience, trust, and visibility in the U.S. and beyond."

The appointments and contract wins are viewed as part of Fire on the Hill's broader commitment to the U.S. market, strengthening its capacity to support clients in communicating across changing regulatory, cultural, and media environments.

Chris Clarke, co-founder of Fire on the Hill, stated: "When it comes to talent, we seek people with sharp minds, curiosity and dedication to the craft. In an environment where old rules are being discarded, and new norms being created, it is vital we have a team of people able to navigate this complexity and build long-term trust with clients. We are delighted to welcome both Sam and Kira to the team as they fit the bill perfectly."

The agency outlined that the U.S. remains a central focus in its growth strategy, especially as the need for communication support among U.S.-based companies and businesses aiming to engage U.S. audiences continues to increase. The New York office works in tandem with Fire on the Hill's London office and its broader international partner network, which covers Asia Pacific, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
