IDHL rebrands, uniting eight agencies under one umbrella
National digital performance marketing agency IDHL has unveiled a comprehensive rebranding effort, consolidating several agency names under a single umbrella. The agency's new look and integrated website bring together WMG, Ingenuity Digital, Equation, Statement, NetConstruct, Pinpoint, Ampersand, and Conesso.
The rebrand signifies a strategic shift for IDHL, which has experienced both organic and acquisitive growth in recent years. This move includes a complete overhaul of its website and branding, leading to the retirement of the individual agencies' separate identities and online platforms.
IDHL now operates through three key divisions: Intelligence, Performance, and Web & eCommerce. These divisions are supported by specialist teams that focus on accelerating client growth through the delivery of integrated services. The agency employs more than 400 people across offices in London, Leeds, Harrogate, Manchester, and Newcastle.
Acquired by Bridgepoint Development Capital in 2021, IDHL aims to achieve tangible results for its diverse client base, including sectors such as financial services, professional services, industrials, and luxury and fashion.
Ben Wood, CEO of IDHL, commented on the rebranding: "It's incredibly exciting to see the rebrand launch, setting the tone for our future ambitions. The time is right to now unite our various brands to maximise growth for clients through data-driven expertise."
Wood also acknowledged the contributions of the agency's staff: "We're extremely grateful for the diligent and forward-thinking approach of our expert team members, who have been involved in this process from the outset as we bring everyone together. Our teams are delivering exceptional work in an increasingly data-driven and fast-paced market, and this launch supports our consultative approach."
He further extended his gratitude to clients: "I would like to thank our teams and clients for coming on this exciting journey with us. We look forward to building on the success of all three IDHL divisions."
In the past 12 months, IDHL has expanded its leadership team with several new senior appointments. These include Katie Duance as Marketing Director, Dan Taylor as Commercial Director, Ben Unwin as Business Development Director, and Sharon Palmer as Director of Group Accounts and Client Success.
Additionally, Sam Ogrizovic was named Director of International to spearhead the company's first office in the United States. This expansion aims to capture growth opportunities for US-based and UK clients with a US presence.
Established in 2000, IDHL has grown significantly and is recognised as one of the UK's fastest-growing independent digital agencies. The agency's recent client survey, conducted in Q2 2024, highlighted a keen interest among clients in the impact of Artificial Intelligence on digital strategy and operations.
The rebrand is concurrent with reports indicating a strong rebound in the marketing and advertising markets. The latest Bellwether Report noted that the net balance of UK businesses had expanded their marketing budgets in Q2 2024—the highest level since Q1 2014. According to IBISWorld, the UK Digital Advertising Agencies sector was valued at GBP £17.3 billion in 2023, with ad spending projected to grow by 5.86% from 2024 to 2028.
