Luzmo launches AI-powered analytics platform Luzmo IQ
Luzmo has announced the launch of Luzmo IQ, a platform enabling the integration of AI-driven analytics into applications and workflows.
The new platform, Luzmo IQ, aims to address the increasing demands of end-users for data interaction capabilities in their applications. By allowing development teams to embed AI-accelerated analytics, Luzmo IQ facilitates the creation of data products that deliver context-aware, hyper-personalised responses to user queries.
Addressing the current market needs, Luzmo has designed its platform to empower businesses to give users greater independence in interacting with their data. Rather than relying on pre-coded applications or navigating complex data query languages, users can now receive direct answers to data-related questions via natural language processing.
Katana, a developer of cloud-hosted inventory software, commented on the platform's benefits: "Luzmo IQ will help us to integrate an intuitive, AI-driven chat interface for our users to get actionable insights simply by asking questions. Instead of navigating dashboards and creating custom reports, they will get fast, visual responses to any data query. This will also help them to make informed business decisions and stay focused on optimising their inventory."
Luzmo IQ builds upon the company's recent release of Luzmo Flex, an SDK that allows for custom data analytics integration into apps rapidly. The Luzmo IQ platform offers a library of user interface components and API endpoints, managing vector embeddings into a ClickHouse database. This setup simplifies the deployment of advanced AI features like retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
The platform supports OpenAI and is compatible with various large language models (LLMs), providing businesses with customisation options. Through its API-first architecture, it enables the development of AI components like chatbots and search functionalities, with seamless integrations that reduce the need for extensive IT maintenance.
Karel Callens, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Luzmo, highlighted the company's vision with the new release: "Luzmo's focus is to provide data analytics solutions that are embedded into client-facing applications in a way that remains entirely natural to the end-users as we believe this is the only way to truly democratise access to data."
Callens said, "Luzmo IQ is the next logical step towards achieving this goal after centralising our product set through the recent release of Luzmo Flex. With Luzmo IQ we are enabling teams to get ahead of end-user demands and focus on building and embedding AI-driven data experiences without the considerable challenge of managing back-end maintenance and orchestration."
One of the notable features of Luzmo IQ is its protection of intellectual property and confidentiality. Using Luzmo's proprietary query engine, the platform interfaces with LLMs, reducing response variability and improving data reliability. It ensures only aggregated query responses are interpreted, adding a data protection layer for customers and limiting LLM access to specified datasets through an access control layer.
