NormCyber wins Cyber OSPAs award for customer service in 2025
NormCyber was awarded the Outstanding Customer Service Initiative Award at the 2025 Cyber OSPAs for its approach to cyber and data risk management.
The Cyber OSPAs honour organisations, products, and people who have achieved excellent standards in cybersecurity. In the Outstanding Customer Service Initiative category, the judging panel, assembled from bodies including the Chartered Institute of Information Security, CREST, SASIG, TechUK, and the UK Cyber Security Council, sought evidence of customer benefits such as reduced cyber risks and enhanced competitiveness.
NormCyber's winning entry centred on its Smartbloc performance dashboard, which delivers real-time visibility into cybersecurity from any device. The system supports users in visualising risks, understanding their impact, determining the urgency of incidents, prioritising responses, and tracking the return on investment attributed to cybersecurity measures with transparency.
An emphasis on clear and actionable reporting complements Smartbloc. It aims to give organisations greater control over cybersecurity, helping decision-makers implement robust and measurable tactics.
One key element of NormCyber's approach is the provision of Focal Analysts, described as dedicated strategic advisors who tailor services to each customer's specific needs and business objectives. These advisors contribute to improving continuous cyber resilience, aligning security measures with commercial priorities, and supporting matters such as remediation of critical vulnerabilities and guidance through certification processes. Through this collaborative model, Focal Analysts help customers turn complex security data into decisions designed to benefit the business.
Wayne Churchill, Chief Executive Officer of NormCyber, commented on the recent accolade. "We are honoured to receive such a major accolade for our customer service initiative, and to enter the Cyber OSPAs hall of fame in the company of high-profile organisations from across the country. This marks the fourth award win for Norm in the past seven months, but this one is particularly special as it recognises our core value principle – our customer-obsession."
"We have built our platform and service model to enable organisations operating even in the most complex of IT and legal environments to gain clarity and confidence over their cyber resilience. We go on this journey with them and help them continually enhance their cyber security thinking and preparedness – and in turn, we use their feedback to continually innovate and set new standards for the industry."
NormCyber's client base extends to finance, insurance, logistics, and retail sectors. One of its clients, Fusion Global Business Solutions (Fusion GBS), shared its experience of working with the cybersecurity provider. Jeremy Bowman, Chief Information Security Officer at Fusion GBS, said, "We needed a partner that could adapt and scale with our needs. Norm's services provided us with not only technical solutions but also strategic guidance that has fundamentally transformed our security operations."
"We're in constant dialogue with Norm. The continuous flow of information keeps us aligned with best practices and ensures we stay one step ahead of potential threats. I have complete peace of mind knowing that Norm is providing round-the-clock vigilance over Fusion GBS's operations."
The judging criteria for the Cyber OSPAs focused on recognising businesses that deliver measurable, sustainable customer benefits in the field of cybersecurity. In NormCyber's case, the judges referenced the combination of its customer success model, technical capabilities, and emphasis on strategic partnership through its Focal Analysts.
NormCyber's range of services includes a continuously operating UK-based security operations centre and offerings in data protection, human risk management, testing, compliance, and assessment. The company maintains accreditation to standards such as Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001, is CREST-certified, and has PCI-DSS accreditation.
