Rackspace partners with JBi Digital for UK government cloud

Rackspace Technology has announced a partnership with JBi Digital to bolster its presence and capability in the UK government services sector.

Rackspace Sovereign Government Cloud was selected by JBi Digital to ensure a seamless migration for a government client, allowing the agency to accommodate the increasing requirements of the UK's public services market.

This partnership will enable JBi Digital to address the unique security and compliance needs of UK government customers, expanding its influence in the sector with Rackspace Technology's assistance in handling sensitive workloads.

JBi Digital, founded in 2008, has a proven track record in tackling complex digital challenges with user-centric and results-oriented approaches, earning a reputation for excellence through strong client relationships.

When tasked with migrating a legacy data centre and revamping a public-facing website for a government entity, JBi Digital partnered with Rackspace to meet stringent deadlines and regulatory requirements using the Sovereign Government Cloud platform.

The Rackspace Sovereign Government Cloud is specifically designed for public sector organisations, ensuring data and personnel remain within UK borders. The collaboration between JBi Digital's secure digital solutions expertise and Rackspace's IT proficiency created a scalable environment for their government project.

The project was completed in two phases with zero downtime, illustrating the commitment to excellence and stringent timelines. Rackspace also provided advanced security technologies like custom VPN connections and two-factor authentication.
