Actica Consulting acquires Ntegra to boost service offerings
Actica Consulting, a specialist provider of digital transformation and cybersecurity services, has acquired Ntegra, a digital engineering practice. This marks Actica's first acquisition since Sovereign Capital Partners invested in the business in 2022.
Founded in 1998, Actica primarily collaborates with central government clients on long-term, mission-critical programmes. Services offered by Actica include strategy creation, architecture development, digital transformation, cyber security optimisation, data analytics, and business intelligence.
Ntegra's software engineering expertise and its client roster, which includes the Ministry of Defence, All Points Fibre, Vodafone, and DTSL, will significantly enhance Actica's service offerings. The acquisition is expected to create substantial cross-selling opportunities between the organisations.
Dr Mike Murphy, Managing Director of Actica, commented on the acquisition: "We are excited to announce that Ntegra is now part of the Actica Group of companies, marking the first acquisition in our Buy & Build journey with Sovereign Capital Partners. The addition of Ntegra's high-quality engineering team will enhance Actica's capabilities in the areas of platform engineering, data analytics and application development. This will enable us to offer our clients a broader range of services, complementing our current offerings in the advisory, architecture, cyber and data areas."
Andy Jefferies, CEO of Ntegra, also expressed his enthusiasm: "We are thrilled to join the Actica Group and embark on this exciting new chapter in Ntegra's journey. This partnership marks a significant milestone for us, as it allows us to combine our expertise in platform and product engineering with Actica's well-established strengths in advisory, architecture, cyber and data services. We look forward to the future with Actica and are confident that our combined efforts will set new benchmarks in the industry."
Representing Sovereign Capital Partners, Jeremy Morgan, Partner, and Emma Flin, Investment Director, provided additional context: "We are pleased to support Actica in this significant step forward. The acquisition of Ntegra not only enhances Actica's delivery capabilities but also opens up substantial cross-sell opportunities across the combined client bases, including the private sector. We look forward to supporting Actica as it continues to grow and deliver exceptional value to its customers."
The acquisition of Ntegra by Actica Consulting represents a strategic move to bolster the latter's digital transformation and cybersecurity services through enhanced engineering capabilities. As Actica integrates Ntegra's expertise into its operations, the combined strengths are poised to offer a more comprehensive suite of services, potentially increasing its market reach and client value.
This development signals a significant evolution in Actica's growth trajectory, aligning with its objectives of expanding service offerings and leveraging cross-selling opportunities. The partnership underscores a broader trend of consolidation and specialisation within the industry, aiming to deliver more robust solutions to meet evolving client needs.
