Arrow Electronics named Cloud Commerce Manager for Broadcom
Arrow Electronics has been appointed by Broadcom as the Cloud Commerce Manager (CCM) for the VMware Cloud Service Provider (VCSP) programme in 19 European countries.
This newly established agreement will enable VMware Cloud Service Provider partners within these regions to access VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) via Arrow.
Following its acquisition by Broadcom, VMware has streamlined its product offerings, focusing the VCSP Programme on VMware Cloud Foundation.
VMware Cloud Foundation is noted as the first private cloud platform designed to deliver public cloud scale and agility while maintaining private cloud security, resilience, and performance. The platform aims to assist customers in digital innovation through faster infrastructure modernisation, a unified cloud experience, enhanced cyber resilience, platform security, and lowered total cost of ownership.
"For over two decades, Arrow has distributed VMware solutions across Europe," stated Nick Bannister, president of Arrow's enterprise computing solutions business in EMEA. "Our deep understanding, combined with our market expertise, is ideal for us to empower MSPs in an evolving landscape. Our local teams will keep supporting customers' revenue growth, while also helping them get the most from the new Advantage Partner Programme for VCSP."
Earlier this year, Broadcom introduced the Advantage Partner Programme for VCSP partners. The initiative is designed to recognise the commitment of VCSP partners and foster growth through simplified pricing, improved margins, and enhanced benefits.
"Arrow's established presence in the European market, combined with their proven track record in VMware solutions, positions them well to support our VCSP strategy," commented Ahmar Mohammad, vice president of partners, managed services, and solutions go to market, VCF Division at Broadcom. "We look forward to working together as we evolve our partner programme."
Arrow will extend support to VCSP partners in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Denmark, Iceland, the Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), Germany, Finland, France, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
