AULUMU has launched two new sling bags in its Urban Gear Series: the B01 Urban Transit Gear Sling Bag and the B02 Urban Quick-Access Phone Sling Bag.
The launch expands the brand's bag range with products aimed at everyday commuting and light travel.
The B01 is the larger model, with expandable storage from 2.5 to 3.5 litres. It is designed for commuting, city travel and daily carry, and includes a detachable magnetic metal compartment that keeps a phone on the outside of the bag for one-handed access.
The bag is made from X-Pac fabric and features a Fidlock magnetic buckle and YKK zips. Internal compartments hold items such as cards, keys, gadgets and power banks, while an adjustable shoulder strap allows for different crossbody positions.
The B02 is the smaller model, with a capacity of about 0.3 litres. It uses the same detachable magnetic metal compartment and is aimed at people carrying a phone, passport, cards and a few personal items.
Intended for short trips and lighter everyday use, including shopping, concerts and commuting, the B02 also uses X-Pac fabric, a Fidlock magnetic buckle and YKK zips.
Pricing
The B01 is priced at USD $145 in the US and GBP £125.76 in the UK. The B02 is priced at USD $89 and GBP £83.78.
Both products form part of AULUMU's wider magnetic accessory system. The B02 can be used with accessories including the G09 Infinite Rotation Magnetic Stand, while the B01 is also designed to fit into the broader product setup.
Founded in 2022, AULUMU focuses on bags and technology accessories with an industrial design style. The brand says its products are used by customers in more than 20 countries and regions and that it has received design recognition, including a Red Dot award.
The launch adds to a product line centred on compact carry products and accessories that emphasise quick access to devices and essentials.
The B01's larger storage makes it the more conventional bag of the two, but its design centres on keeping the phone separate from the main compartment. In the B02, that approach becomes the defining feature of a smaller carry format intended to reduce the need for a full-sized bag.
Both products also reflect a continued focus on technical materials and modular design in the personal accessories market, where brands increasingly target commuters and travellers who want smaller bags organised around phones and a handful of daily items.
AULUMU says the new models were developed around its "Beyond Storage. Redefining Carry" philosophy.
The two sling bags also give users different options depending on how much they need to carry during the day. The B01 is suited to users who need space for additional everyday essentials, while the B02 focuses on keeping only the most frequently accessed items close at hand.
Their shared magnetic compartment design provides a consistent approach across both models. The use of modular accessories also allows the bags to be integrated with other products in AULUMU's existing range. Together, the new models broaden the brand's offering for users looking for compact alternatives to traditional backpacks and larger shoulder bags.
