AvePoint launches new Elements platform for MSP growth

Fri, 14th Feb 2025

AvePoint has announced the launch of the next generation of its AvaPoint Elements platform, aimed at enhancing managed services for Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

AvePoint Elements offers MSPs automation capabilities, data security, and improved operational efficiency through an AI-enhanced toolset, assisting them in navigating growing data volumes and complex environments.

"Our partners have a massive opportunity to unlock new recurring revenue streams through security, backup, workspace management and compliance services this year," said Coby Liang, Head of EMEA at AvePoint. "Our Elements Platform empowers MSPs to deploy standardised security and compliance configurations consistently across multiple tenants, helping them efficiently manage increasing data volumes and complex environments, thus driving growth and capitalising on the expanding cybersecurity market."

The company emphasises the addition of security-centric revenue avenues for MSP partners, which contributes to more than half of AvePoint's annual recurring revenue.

Chris Shaw, Head of Channel at AvePoint UK, noted, "The latest version of Elements being released shows how much we value our partners and the investment they make back into us. Our commitment to Elements will mean that partners can take this tool and build out security-centric recurring revenue streams, all through one seamless platform."

According to a study by Canalys, over 90% of cybersecurity solutions are anticipated to be delivered via partners by 2025, further indicating the significant opportunities available to MSPs utilising platforms like AvePoint Elements.

AvePoint identifies several benefits of its Elements platform: improved operational efficiency, increased profitability, seamless scalability, and advanced security controls.

Enhanced efficiency is partially attained through integrations with AvePoint's compliance and data protection solutions, facilitating automation and remote management. MSPs can manage clients efficiently, encountering fewer issues with complex tenant operations.

With regards to profitability, AvePoint Elements seeks to minimise operational costs and streamline processes, allowing MSPs to concentrate on providing value-added services. The support for multi-SaaS platforms permits engagement with clients across different clouds under a singular system.

The scalability of the Elements platform affords MSPs the opportunity to implement consistent security and compliance measures across numerous tenants, thereby improving service capability and process standardisation for client onboarding.

Advanced security functionalities, such as proactive monitoring and policy enforcement, are built into the platform, aiming to ensure customer data protection from a centralised system.

"MSPs have massive revenue opportunities surrounding multi-cloud data security and workspace management, especially when they offer more than one solution to their customers within a managed service," said Scott Sacket, Senior Vice President of Partner Strategy at AvePoint.

Sacket continued, "Through our private preview, partners have already seen a 40% increase in average revenue per user when they integrate more than two solutions into a managed service. On top of that, time wasted on operations and infrastructure, which can take away from valuable service delivery and customer care, have already been reduced by 85% from our private preview partners."
