BCN joins Arrow cloud channel as CSP Indirect Reseller
BCN took a new role in Arrow Electronics' cloud channel as a CSP Indirect Reseller, a move that links its Microsoft-focused services with Arrow's partner ecosystem.
The arrangement places BCN inside Arrow's Cloud Solution Provider distribution model. BCN said the relationship connects its work in data and AI with Arrow's vendor and partner network.
Channel route
BCN positions itself as a Microsoft-focused digital transformation and IT services provider. It works across data, AI and cybersecurity, alongside cloud, workplace, managed support and application development services.
As an Arrow CSP Indirect Reseller, BCN will work through Arrow's channel structure that is used by service providers and resellers to transact cloud services and access associated support and programme resources.
BCN said the partnership fits its "Microsoft-first approach". It also pointed to its data and AI work as a factor in the decision.
Microsoft alignment
The company noted it anticipates closer collaboration with Microsoft through Arrow's ecosystem and vendor relationships. It also said it plans to expand its data and AI services.
BCN referenced a recent Microsoft designation as part of the context for the partnership.
"This decision is a carefully considered step to reinforce our position as a leading Microsoft Partner. It follows BCN recently becoming one of only 30 partners globally to be awarded the Microsoft Support Services Partner Designation. Arrow's reach, resources, and technical expertise are a perfect match to help us deliver exceptional value for our clients and to expand our data and AI services," said Rob Davies, Chief Executive Officer, BCN.
BCN said it will use Arrow's partner programmes and technical resources. It said customers will gain access to a wider pool of technical support and guidance.
Partner resources
BCN said Arrow's "P2P network" will form part of the operational relationship. It also said Arrow's partner base will have access to BCN's work in AI through the broader ecosystem.
"BCN will benefit from Arrow's P2P network, while Arrow's ecosystem can leverage our advanced AI capabilities. Our focus remains on delivering an outstanding technical experience and cementing our role as a strategic managed services and AI & data specialist in the channel," said Davies.
The company said clients will see broader access to technical support and training. It also points to the best-practice guidance and strategic advice around data and AI programmes.
BCN did not disclose the commercial terms of the arrangement. It also did not set out targets for customer growth or revenue tied to the new reseller status.
Company footprint
BCN said it serves more than 1,600 customers. It employs more than 400 people across its UK office network, including more than 250 trained support staff and technical engineers.
The company said it has combined organic growth with acquisitions in recent years. It said those acquisitions expanded its product and services portfolio.
BCN also highlighted its Microsoft Support Services designation. They said the designation reflects an assessment process and signals that a partner meets Microsoft standards for support.
BCN said the Arrow relationship will sit alongside its existing set of Microsoft-aligned services across Azure, modern workplace tools and managed support. Davies framed the partnership as part of BCN's positioning in managed services, data, and AI work.
"Our focus remains on delivering an outstanding technical experience and cementing our role as a strategic managed services and AI & data specialist in the channel," said Davies.
