Celonis & The Hackett Group unite for AI-driven benchmarking
Celonis and The Hackett Group have established a collaboration aimed at helping clients identify technology investments, including artificial intelligence (AI), that produce the strongest return on investment using process intelligence and benchmarking tools.
The collaboration will utilise Celonis Process Intelligence alongside The Hackett Group's AI XPLR and ZBrain platforms.
This integrated approach is designed to give companies the ability to harness process intelligence, deploy agentic workflow solutions, and benchmark their performance against The Hackett Group's Digital World Class standards.
The Hackett Group, a generative artificial intelligence consultancy and executive advisory firm, is known for its enterprise benchmarking and business transformation expertise. The collaboration seeks to merge The Hackett Group's strengths in industry benchmarks and advisory experience with Celonis' process intelligence technology.
Benchmarking and clarity
Organisations will be able to combine The Hackett Group's industry benchmarks with Celonis' process intelligence and its own metrics.
This will enable a detailed assessment of organisations' operations with a focus on key performance indicators such as cycle time, automation rate, and rework rate.
According to the companies, this insight will allow organisations to make informed decisions about which technologies, including AI, are likely to deliver the greatest performance improvements. As part of the partnership, The Hackett Group has certified the Celonis process intelligence operating benchmark framework.
Precision in AI deployment
The Hackett Group's AI XPLR platform will leverage data from the Celonis Process Intelligence Graph, aiming to deliver tailored and impactful AI use cases and digital transformation recommendations. This approach is intended to offer greater precision and relevance in the way AI solutions are designed and implemented.
Scalable implementation
Once AI use case recommendations are generated, companies can deploy them as agentic workflows through The Hackett Group's ZBrain Gen AI development platform, which can then be orchestrated by the Celonis Orchestration Engine.
The companies state this end-to-end solution is designed to ensure AI deployments deliver measurable business outcomes at scale.
"Together, we are redefining the way companies operate. By combining Celonis' unique process intelligence, benchmarking insights, and AI orchestration we are enabling the operations of the future: AI-driven and continuously learning and improving," said Carsten Thoma, President and Board Director at Celonis.
"We're helping companies move from intention to action and impact," said Ted Fernandez, Chairman and CEO of The Hackett Group. "Celonis process intelligence lets companies understand how their business runs and how to make it run better. On that basis, AI XPLR identifies, designs and evaluates potential solutions, and ZBrain delivers the agentic workflows to drive the change."
The Hackett Group's benchmarking process is based on experience with major global organisations, including 97% of the Dow Jones Industrials, 90% of the Fortune 100, 70% of the DAX 40, and 51% of the FTSE 100.
The scope of the collaboration is expected to support companies looking to clarify technology investment decisions, deploy AI with accuracy, and track performance improvements with enterprise-grade benchmarking data.
