Check Point expands MSP platform with AI security tools

Thu, 11th Jun 2026 (Today)

Check Point has expanded its Managed Service Provider platform, with the rollout set to reach partners worldwide.

The update combines three elements: tools to secure artificial intelligence use, a new multi-tenant management platform with Management Control Plane access, and unified security bundles sold through a simplified licensing model. The changes are aimed at managed service providers supporting customers' adoption of AI while trying to reduce operational complexity.

Check Point is extending its Workforce AI Security offering to its MSP business. This will allow providers to identify AI usage, set rules for employee interactions with AI tools, and apply data protection controls across AI applications and agents.

The move comes as Check Point's 2026 Cloud Security Report found that 77 per cent of organisations have updated security strategies in response to AI, but only 26 per cent say they have the architectural ability to enforce them.

That gap has become a commercial issue for MSPs as customers look to outside providers for help with AI deployment and governance. Rather than focusing only on infrastructure management, service providers are increasingly being asked to take on a broader security oversight role.

"AI is reshaping both the threat landscape and the expectations customers now place on their service providers," said Dave Meister, Vice President of MSP/MSSP at Check Point Software Technologies.

He said the shift is changing the role of channel partners.

"MSPs are no longer just managing infrastructure - they are helping customers navigate AI transformation. With these new capabilities, we're giving our partners their first opportunity to discover, secure and govern AI usage and AI agents at scale in an MSP-friendly monthly consumption model with no minimums or lock-ins in a multi-tenant environment," Meister said.

Platform changes

The revamped platform is built around a multi-tenant structure, a common requirement for MSPs serving multiple customers from one environment. Partners will be able to access Check Point's broader product range through that model while also using native AI security features, including Workforce AI.

The system also expands integrations with Professional Services Automation tools as part of what Check Point calls an open-garden strategy. Management Control Plane access has been added to the MSP portal, and a dedicated MSP experience team will cover support, onboarding, enablement and partner services.

These changes signal a stronger push for recurring managed security sales through the channel. Check Point is positioning the platform as a central management layer from which providers can run multiple security services across customer estates.

Bundled offer

Alongside the platform update, Check Point has introduced unified MSP security bundles. The packages combine email security, endpoint security, browser security, mobile security, SASE, Workforce AI, security awareness training and DMARC in one offering.

The bundles are tied to a single stock keeping unit and aligned with partners' Microsoft licensing. This is intended to reduce procurement friction and make onboarding easier for service providers that want to deliver a broader security package without stitching together multiple products and contracts.

For MSPs, the approach is also meant to reduce tool sprawl and simplify day-to-day administration. For customers, it creates a single managed package spanning users, devices, email, software-as-a-service applications, networks and AI environments.

Pax8, which works with technology vendors and managed service providers, said the market is looking for fewer fragmented tools and easier service delivery as AI adoption grows.

"As MSPs help customers navigate rapid AI adoption, there is growing demand for solutions that are easier to manage, consolidate fragmented tools and support evolving security requirements," said Oguo Atuanya, Corporate Vice President of Vendor Experience at Pax8.

"Check Point's approach brings together AI security, centralised management and simplified service delivery in a way that aligns with how partners want to scale and support their customers in the era of AI transformation," Atuanya said.

The new MSP platform is now available to partners, extending a channel strategy that reflects how cybersecurity vendors are adapting their products for service providers managing AI, cloud systems and distributed workforces.
