DataStax & NVIDIA launch AI platform to boost accuracy

DataStax has announced the launch of the DataStax AI Platform, built in collaboration with NVIDIA AI, designed to expedite AI development and improve accuracy.

The newly introduced platform claims to reduce AI development time by 60% and process AI workloads 19 times faster. It integrates DataStax's offerings with NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, aiming to simplify the building of AI applications by utilising enterprise data. It also enhances model accuracy through continuous learning as customer interaction increases.

Key components of the platform include the DataStax Langflow platform and several NVIDIA AI Enterprise tools. The DataStax Langflow platform offers an application development environment with a visual interface to simplify complex logic flows.

NVIDIA's contributions include the NeMo Retriever, which connects custom models to business data for more accurate responses, and blueprints for multimodal PDF data extraction, aiding in the ingestion of unstructured data. The NeMo Curator tool helps create high-quality datasets for pretraining, while the NeMo Customiser and Evaluator simplify fine-tuning and model evaluation. The NeMo Guardrails feature provides programmable safety measures for conversational applications, and the NIM Agent Blueprints offer AI workflows for generative applications.
