Goldilock & Simplicity One partner to boost cybersecurity
Goldilock has been selected to advance to Phase II of the Defense Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA), a NATO initiative to address complex security challenges through technology.
The selection of Goldilock as one of ten companies for Phase II of DIANA underscores the potential of its patented FireBreak technology in protecting critical infrastructure and mission-critical systems. In addition to this achievement, Goldilock has announced a strategic partnership with Simplicity One, a notable distributor in the Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific regions. This partnership is geared towards equipping Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) with tools to tackle evolving cybersecurity threats.
Advancing in DIANA Phase II provides Goldilock with up to EUR €300,000 in funding, alongside opportunities for technology certification, development of scalable FireBreak technology, and enhancement of software tools for large-scale deployments. The company emerged from a competitive pool of 1,300 applicants as the sole cybersecurity firm focused on critical national infrastructure (CNI) to progress to this stage.
Tony Hasek, Chief Executive Officer of Goldilock, said, "Cyberattacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated, and current solutions are struggling to keep up. Our FireBreak technology offers a complete shift in the cybersecurity paradigm by physically disconnecting critical systems from network vulnerabilities. This provides a level of protection that is unmatched, especially in sectors where failure is not an option."
The partnership with Simplicity One is intended to broaden access to Goldilock's solutions among MSSPs, utilising Simplicity One's extensive connections within the ANZ and Pacific markets to enhance security offerings.
Peter Agamalis, Vice President of Business Partnerships at Simplicity One, remarked, "Partnering with Goldilock is an incredible opportunity to redefine what cybersecurity looks like for MSSPs. FireBreak offers our channel partners a powerful solution to not only protect their clients at a critical level, but also to position themselves as leaders in next-generation cybersecurity. We see it as a definite game-changer."
He further commented on the partnership's strategic alignment: "This partnership aligns seamlessly with Goldilock's philosophy of working collaboratively to enhance business outcomes. Simplicity One's robust ecosystem of MSSPs, combined with Goldilock's innovative technology, sets the stage for a new era of cybersecurity excellence."
Through this collaboration, MSSPs will gain access to several enhancements: FireBreak technology provides unmatched protection by disconnecting vulnerable systems from network threats; MSSPs can differentiate themselves by offering a unique solution in the market; scalability is facilitated for large-scale, multi-site deployments; and increased client trust is achieved through the credibility and recognition associated with NATO DIANA.
"This partnership reflects our shared commitment to providing meaningful solutions that address the critical needs of our partners and their clients," stated Hasek. "By combining Goldilock's technology with Simplicity One's distribution expertise, we are unlocking new opportunities for the MSSP channel."
Goldilock's advancements in the DIANA programme and its collaboration with Simplicity One position the company as a contender in global cybersecurity efforts. There is a strong focus on developing tools and support designed to protect vital systems, aligning with the company's broader mission of enhancing cybersecurity standards.
