IMP Software marks growth with staff changes & expansion
IMP Software has concluded 2024 with enhanced market presence, significant growth, and new appointments as it continues to serve the Multi-Academy Trust sector.
The company, with locations in Exeter and Peterborough, celebrated its fifth anniversary this year and ended 2024 working with over 500 MATs and more than 5,000 schools (up from 3,700 schools the previous year).
This expansion has been supported by a 90-member team, with Morgan Davies as Head of Engineering, Nadine ter Meulen as Head of Marketing, Alexis Noble as Head of People, Michael Page as Head of Product, and Rosie Holder as MAT Product Specialist. In addition, Warren Porter has been promoted to Head of Education Strategy, and Mat Truche-Gordon has joined the company's board as Chair.
Throughout this year, IMP Software launched the MAT Finance Sector Insight Report 2024, gaining a presence at several educational events, including the Confederation of School Trusts Annual Conference, the Schools & Academies Show, the Institute of School Business Leadership National Conference, and the MAT Partnership Networks.
Will Jordan, Co-Founder of IMP Software, remarked, "As the market leader in MAT financial management software, IMP Software is uniquely positioned to support smarter MAT finance through innovative tools and actionable insights that enable informed decision-making."
"With 500 trusts – encompassing over 5,000 schools – using our software, we understand the weight of this responsibility and are deeply committed to helping our customers achieve financial excellence. We are immensely grateful to all our customers for their trust and collaboration again this year. Their dedication to improving financial management within their organisations inspires us to continually raise the bar," Jordan added.
Plans for future growth are underway, including launching new products to accompany existing offerings such as IMP Planner and IMP ICFP. These tools aim to enhance MAT budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and the effective deployment of resources.
IMP Software has earned the Great Place to Work Certification for the second consecutive year, an accolade that recognises the firm's commitment to cultivating a positive workplace culture.
Reflecting on the firm's journey since its inception in 2019, Jordan stated, "When we launched in 2019, our vision was simple: to provide MATs with smarter, more efficient financial tools. Fast forward to today, and we are extremely proud to see our software supporting over 5,000 schools, promoting budget-led accounting and helping them to eliminate the 'faff' from MAT finance."
He also emphasised the importance of the team at IMP Software: "Our success this year, and in future, is built on the foundations of developing a first-class team of MAT finance legends who give it their all. Our Great Place to Work Certification is all part of the bargain to ensure that we are a fantastic place to work, both to support our current legends and attract legends in the future."
Jordan concluded by expressing gratitude to his team: "Thank you to every member of our amazing team for making IMP Software a supportive and empowering community where people thrive."
