Inevidesk launches partner programme with Scan for VDI solutions
Inevidesk has announced the launch of a new channel partner programme aimed at empowering resellers and managed service providers to offer high-performance virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) to a wider range of clients.
According to the company, the programme emphasises flexibility, accessibility, and sustainability, allowing organisations with the most demanding graphical needs to optimise their digital experiences while minimising costs.
As part of this launch, Inevidesk has named Scan as its first strategic partner. This partnership is set to complement Scan's existing Scan Cloud offerings and expand their capabilities to meet diverse customer requirements.
In recent years, the shift towards hybrid working has left organisations with significant GPU requirements, such as those involved in CAD and 3D modelling, tethered to physical workstations. Current VDI solutions often fall short in supporting these high-performance needs and come with high costs, making them inaccessible for many businesses.
The new partner programme from Inevidesk aims to address these challenges directly. Partners will now be able to provide high-performance virtual desktops at more accessible price points, enabling even organisations with substantial graphical needs to operate flexibly without sacrificing digital performance.
Flexibility is a key feature of Inevidesk's partner programme. Partners have the option to source bespoke-built hardware from Inevidesk or integrate Inevidesk's VDI service into their own hardware. Additionally, Inevidesk's hosted services are available in a Tier 4 data centre known for high performance and resilience. Partners can also choose to locate these services in their own data centre or customer site if preferred. Furthermore, Inevidesk's Flexidesk solution, launched in November 2023, supports dynamic scaling and single virtual desktop provisioning for hosted customers.
The programme includes a centralised Administration Portal that offers partners a streamlined experience for deploying and managing virtual desktop estates. This portal supports quick set-up through templates that can be cloned in minutes and allows user management through active directory syncing, thus ensuring efficiency.
In addition to the technological benefits, Inevidesk's virtual desktops also support sustainability objectives. The virtual desktops reportedly generate 62% less carbon than traditional physical workstations and reduce the environmental impact associated with manufacturing, packaging, and hardware delivery.
Mark Adams, Co-Founder at Inevidesk, commented on the launch: "We are excited to partner with best-in-class solution providers who share our vision of making high-performance virtual desktop infrastructure accessible to organisations with demanding GPU requirements. Together, we can empower businesses to remove the barriers to flexible and collaborative working practices to help them unlock business value."
Neil Christie, Solutions Director at Scan, also expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: "Inevidesk is a perfect complement to our existing Scan Cloud offerings. It allows us to cater to a wider range of customer needs, especially those requiring a private cloud solution with enhanced data security. By combining Inevidesk with our 3XS systems, we can offer customers a one-stop shop for their workstation and VDI needs, delivered as a service with the benefits of cloud-based OPEX costs."
