Intercity acquires Centrality, set to become GBP £60m managed services giant
InterCity, a managed services firm based in Birmingham, has announced its acquisition of Centrality, a Bedfordshire-based Microsoft Solutions Partner. This move is set to propel Intercity into a GBP £60 million company armed with a robust team of over 325 individuals.
This acquisition marks a strategic progression in Intercity's ambitious growth plans. Aiming to significantly expand its Microsoft capabilities and managed service offerings, the firm has enriched its portfolio significantly. Presently serving over 1,300 customers across the UK, Intercity is a reputable figure in the landscape of managed IT services, cloud, security, and communications.
The acquisition of Centrality, lauded as one of the UK's most accredited Microsoft Service Partners, will bring more than 25 years of Microsoft experience to Intercity. Intercity has welcomed David Keeling, the CEO of Centrality, to its board as the Managing Director of a new division. This new division will focus on leveraging Centrality's deep expertise in Microsoft's suite of products and solutions. The 100-strong Centrality team will continue to operate from their Bedfordshire office, endorsing a smooth transition into the Intercity Group.
