Ivalua to enhance NCC Sweden's supply chain risk management
Ivalua has been selected by the Nordic construction behemoth NCC Sweden to lead its risk and performance management initiatives and streamline its supplier onboarding processes. As a global player in spend management, Ivalua aims to use its technological prowess to enhance NCC's complex supply chain operations.
With tens of thousands of suppliers integral to industries like manufacturing, fragmented supply chains present significant risks. Companies without comprehensive visibility into regulation compliance, goods, and the entire source-to-pay process often face elevated risks. Ivalua's spend management platform will now be leveraged to manage these risks within NCC's diverse and intricate supply chain, which can lead to annual revenue losses of up to 15%.
NCC Sweden, a construction company in the Nordics, is known for its expertise in managing complex construction processes across various sectors, such as building and infrastructure project contracting, asphalt and stone materials production, and commercial property development. The company, which employs 12,200 people and reported revenues of SEK 57 billion in 2023, is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
NCC has chosen Ivalua's comprehensive solutions to address the challenges arising from a fragmented supplier management landscape. The scope of this project includes supplier relationship management, supplier onboarding, and risk and performance management. By implementing Ivalua's platform, NCC aims to enhance control over its supplier operations and gain valuable insights to effectively monitor and track risks.
Emma Papakosta, Head of Purchasing Development and Digitalisation at NCC Group, stated, "We selected Ivalua due to its ability to effectively meet our complex requirements with its unified, flexible platform and proven track record in the construction industry. With this, NCC will be able to enhance our efforts in this prioritised area."
Dan Amzallag, Chief Operating Officer at Ivalua, added, "Ivalua's platform effectively meets NCC's current requirements and will seamlessly adapt to support its future needs as its business and the market requirements evolve.
