Lawfront selects NetDocuments for document management

NetDocuments has been chosen by Lawfront as the document management system (DMS) across four of its regional law firms.

Lawfront, which comprises Farleys, Fisher Jones Greenwood, Nelsons, and Slater Heelis, will implement NetDocuments as a central cloud-based repository, aimed at enhancing productivity and client service across its 28 offices in the United Kingdom. This implementation is part of Lawfront's mission to create a unified technology platform.

The adoption of NetDocuments is expected to transform the user experience for 800 lawyers and legal professionals by enabling secure collaboration on documents from any location and any device. Additionally, the integration will provide access to artificial intelligence (AI) tools, which Lawfront hopes will improve efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.

More than 35 million documents from the existing legacy systems of the four law firms will be migrated to the cloud-based platform. The transition will occur in phases, with the first firm, Fisher Jones Greenwood, scheduled for migration by April 2025. Certified NetDocuments partner Accesspoint will oversee the migration process.

According to the company, Lawfront's growth through acquisition necessitated the need for a consolidated document management system to decrease IT costs and establish a uniform work approach across its entities.
