Logicalis wins Cisco Global Sustainability award again

Logicalis has been named the Global Sustainability Partner of the Year at the Cisco Partner Summit 2024 for the second consecutive year.

The award recognises Logicalis's consistent role in advancing sustainable practices within the technology sector, particularly through its collaboration with Cisco.

Logicalis has contributed significantly to clients' efforts to reduce the carbon impact of their IT systems. The company has implemented a range of strategies, including circular IT solutions which focus on the ethical reuse or recycling of end-of-life technology, and sustainable network transformation projects that help reduce energy consumption.

A notable example is Logicalis's recent work with Noble Foods, a fresh food provider, which involved upgrading their network infrastructure with energy-efficient devices. This initiative not only lowered energy bills but also ensured the responsible disposal of old hardware through Cisco's 'Takeback' programme.

The use of smart building technologies has also been a focus for Logicalis, with the integration of intelligent systems to develop energy-efficient workspaces. Logicalis's participation in a Cisco-led cross-industry group underscores its commitment to eco-friendly practices.

Another distinguished offering from Logicalis is its Digital Fabric Platform. This platform, integrated with Cisco's intelligent connectivity, allows clients to measure the performance of their digital infrastructure using five key metrics. It also offers AI-driven recommendations aimed at enhancing security and sustainability.

In the current year, Logicalis was the first partner to achieve Cisco's Sustainable Campus Access Add-On Specialisation. This accolade is complemented by the Technology Services Industry Association Star award for 'Innovative KPIs in Managed Services', further highlighting the effectiveness of the Digital Fabric Platform.
