Logpoint partners with Advitum to bolster Swedish cybersecurity

Logpoint has announced a strategic partnership with the Swedish Managed Service Provider (MSP) Advitum to enhance cybersecurity for organisations throughout Sweden.

This collaboration aims to offer improved security solutions, including log management, threat detection, investigation and response (TDIR), and compliance capabilities.

Fredrik Jubran, Logpoint's Regional Manager for Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), expressed enthusiasm about the partnership by saying, "We aree thrilled to partner with Advitum to help Swedish organisations advance their defenses against cyber threats and demonstrate compliance.

Advitum, founded in Kalmar in 2010, is noted for its comprehensive security services. The MSP ensures that customers have complete control and capability to combat cyber threats. The integration of Logpoint’s Security Information Event Management (SIEM) into Advitum's offerings will enable the service provider to offer more value through a locally managed solution that bolsters data protection.

Markus Persson, Chief Executive Officer of Advitum, highlighted the partnership’s potential impact on Swedish infrastructure organisations facing stringent cybersecurity requirements. He stated, "We work with several critical infrastructure organisations, facing high requirements for visibility and the ability to report IT incidents. Currently, small and medium-sized Swedish organisations are struggling to either build a Security Operations Centre (SOC) or buy a SOC or Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service. Combined with regulations and how cybercrime is accelerating, our partnership has a lot of potential to help them address that."
