Menna.ai, a Cardiff-based fintech start-up, is inviting small business owners in the UK to register for early access to its AI-powered financial assistant.
The company's new service aims to transform how small businesses manage their finances. With generative AI and real-time data, Menna.ai delivers personalised insights to help business owners improve cash flow, manage credit, and access funding.
Established in 2023 by Dan Mines and Nick Carlton, who have extensive experience in fintech, Menna.ai seeks to address the financial challenges small business owners frequently encounter.
Nick Carlton, Co-founder of Menna.ai, said, "Our mission is simple: remove the stress and guesswork from managing finances so business owners can focus on what they do best. We created Menna to be the friendly, no-nonsense financial assistant that small businesses can rely on to help them take control of their money." The platform is designed to assist small business owners in managing their cash flow, enhancing their financial health, and obtaining funding whenever required.
Participants in the early access beta programme will benefit from several features. These include a conversational AI assistant designed to answer their questions, enhanced credit management tools for managing financial obligations, real-time cash flow tracking for increased financial visibility, and lender insights to help them confidently explore funding opportunities.
The initiative is backed by a successful funding round in which Menna.ai raised GBP £500,000. The funds came from a syndicate of 20 business angels, alongside match funding from the Development Bank of Wales' Wales Angel Co-investment Fund. This financial backing highlights Menna.ai's potential to significantly impact the UK's small business sector with its AI-driven financial assistant.
The beta programme aims to improve and expand Menna's services and allows participating businesses to influence future platform developments through their feedback.
