Microsoft has named Logicalis a Microsoft Frontier Partner, adding to its existing Microsoft Copilot specialisation.

The status is awarded to partners recognised by Microsoft for enterprise AI work using its cloud and AI products. It reflects Logicalis's work across Copilot, data and AI, security, and cloud transformation.

The move comes as Microsoft begins its new partner year and sharpens its focus on partners with experience deploying AI tools in large organisations. For Logicalis, the recognition marks another step in its push into AI and cloud services after a year in which demand grew for software and services in those areas.

Microsoft Frontier Partner status is aimed at companies that can help customers adopt AI with the security and governance controls large organisations require. Many businesses are still struggling to move from pilot projects to wider roll-outs, and Logicalis says its work centres on embedding Microsoft Copilot and related AI agents into day-to-day operations.

Logicalis also holds a Microsoft Copilot specialisation, which recognises partners that can assess readiness, secure deployments, guide adoption, and extend Copilot through Copilot Studio and agents. The specialisation covers the design, deployment, adoption, and extension of Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Bob Bailkoski, Global CEO of Logicalis, said: "The next wave of enterprise transformation will be defined by organisations that can turn AI ambition into secure, measurable business impact. Achieving Microsoft Frontier Partner status, alongside our Copilot specialisation, positions Logicalis to help customers globally accelerate that shift with the confidence, governance and scale required to succeed."

AI adoption

Large companies have increased spending on AI, but concerns over governance, security, and the pace of deployment remain barriers to broader use. Logicalis cited findings from its 2026 Global CIO Report showing that 94% of organisations have increased their appetite for AI, while more than half believe adoption is already moving too fast.

Anita Swann, VP, Global Alliances at Logicalis, said: "As we begin Microsoft's FY27 financial year, Logicalis is launching from a position of strength: 12 Microsoft Advanced Specialisations, the Microsoft Frontier Partner badge and our continued Azure Expert MSP status. These achievements reflect the depth of technical capability we have built across the Microsoft stack, from secure data foundations and governance to Copilot Studio, agents and enterprise-scale adoption."

She added: "However, technical capability alone isn't enough. Our 2026 Global CIO Report shows that while 94% of organisations have increased their appetite for AI, more than half believe adoption is already moving too fast. Organisations need more than AI technology; they need a partner that can help them balance innovation with governance, security and measurable business outcomes. That's exactly where our Microsoft expertise makes the biggest difference, helping customers move confidently from AI experimentation to delivering measurable business outcomes."

Logicalis says its approach spans strategy, data foundations, governance, and managed cloud services. It argues that this combination is becoming more important as customers look beyond trial deployments and seek to integrate AI into business processes and customer engagement.

The latest Microsoft recognition also has commercial implications for the company's relationship with the software group. Frontier Partner status can bring closer alignment with Microsoft sales teams and access to internal programmes tied to cloud and AI deals.

Swann said: "As a Microsoft Frontier Partner, we'll benefit from enhanced collaboration with Microsoft through deeper field alignment, co-sell opportunities and access to strategic programmes. That strengthens our ability to help customers accelerate AI adoption securely, expand their adoption of Microsoft cloud and AI technologies and deliver measurable business value."
