Nasuni achieves $1.2 billion valuation, expands in UK
Nasuni has reported notable accomplishments for its fiscal year ending on December 31, 2024, highlighting a strong performance in its financial growth and market presence.
The company witnessed a 26% increase in revenue during FY24, achieving profitability while also maintaining a positive cash flow. This financial success has contributed to its current valuation of $1.2 billion. Nasuni's workforce reached nearly 600 employees, with expansions noted particularly in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Throughout FY24, Nasuni managed over 500 petabytes of total capacity, with more than half of its customers expanding their deployments, resulting in over 600 expansions. Nasuni counts several high-profile companies among its clients, including Mattel, Autodesk, Dyson, Tetra Tech, and Boston Scientific.
Tony Rubenacker, IT Director of Cloud, Platform, and Data Centers at Dow, praised the company's implementation: "We were able to install the Nasuni appliances globally and take advantage of blob storage in Azure, which resulted in an optimised environment from a cost, efficiency, performance, and security perspective."
Nasuni's success has been bolstered by its backing from Vista Equity Partners, allowing for enhanced innovation and global expansion efforts. The company underwent a rebranding to align with its focus on hybrid cloud environments, cyber resiliency, and AI-driven data management.
The platform's AI integration has been reinforced with compatibility enhancements with Microsoft Copilot, further advancing enterprise data analytics capabilities. Additionally, the release of Nasuni IQ, a data intelligence tool, supports AI-driven workflows and data management improvements.
The company reported a strong Gross Revenue Retention Rate of 97.3%. Among its significant business transactions was a 6-year, $46 million contract, the largest total contract value in Nasuni's history.
In terms of industry recognition, Nasuni ranked highly on G2's Winter 2025 Enterprise Grid Report for Cloud File Storage and received its fourth NorthFace ScoreBoard Service Award from the Customer Relationship Management Institute (CRMI).

Further accolades in 2024 included recognition on Gartner Peer Insights with over 100 customer reviews and an average rating of 4.7 stars, as well as features in Gartner's Hype Cycle for Storage Technologies report.
Nasuni also earned finalist status for AWS's Storage Partner of the Year and was included in CRN's Edge Computing 100 and Cloud 100 lists, underscoring its position in the industry.
