Fri, 7th Mar 2025

NVIDIA has announced the return of GTC 2025, focusing on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and showcasing the latest developments in the sector.

The annual event is set to take place from 17 to 21 March in San Jose, California, and is expected to attract 25,000 in-person attendees and an additional 300,000 participants online. Central to the event will be NVIDIA's CEO Jensen Huang, who will deliver a keynote on 18 March about AI and accelerated computing technologies.

"AI is pushing the limits of what's possible — turning yesterday's dreams into today's reality," said Jensen Huang. "GTC brings together the brightest scientists, engineers, developers and creators to imagine and build a better future. Come and be first to see the new advances in NVIDIA computing and breakthroughs in AI, robotics, science and the arts that will transform industries and society."

The conference will host over 1,000 sessions featuring 2,000 speakers and will present nearly 400 exhibitors. These sessions will explore the impact of AI across various sectors such as climate research, healthcare, cybersecurity, and robotics.

Attendees can expect a wide array of curated experiences, including demonstrations, training sessions, and an exhibition of autonomous vehicles. A GTC Night Market is also planned, offering street food and local crafts.

Diverse voices from the industry will contribute to the event, including notable figures such as Pieter Abbeel from the UC Berkeley, Frances Arnold from the California Institute of Technology, and the Rt Hon Peter Kyle MP, UK's Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology.

Quantum computing will also receive focus during the event, with a designated Quantum Day on 20 March. The day will feature a panel discussion with quantum industry leaders alongside Jensen Huang.

NVIDIA's training programmes will be another focal point, offering more than 80 workshops and hands-on training labs. Attendees may also sit for certification exams free of charge, providing an opportunity to validate and advance their skill set in AI and accelerated computing.

For those involved in venture capital and startups, GTC 2025 will host an AI Day featuring panels, live demonstrations, and networking opportunities. NVIDIA's Inception Pavilion will showcase innovative projects from its programme members.

The event will further include a Q&A session for investors, available via webcast. This session is scheduled for 19 March and intends to offer financial insights from NVIDIA.
