Objective named among Ambitious Essex Tech 50 for innovation
Objective has been named on the Ambitious Essex Tech 50 Shortlist for 2025 as one of the fastest growing and most forward-thinking technology businesses in Essex.
The Ambitious Essex Tech 50 recognises tech businesses across Greater Essex that support innovation both within the technology sector and in other industries, such as manufacturing and energy. The list aims to foster collaboration across the sector, create a tech-centred networking group, and strengthen the region's reputation for technological progress.
Selection criteria
Organisations included in the Ambitious Essex Tech 50 were assessed against a set of criteria including turnover, funding and investment secured, approach to skills and employment, local and global reach, growth potential, and technological innovations. This year marks the second edition of the Tech 50 initiative.
The technology landscape in Essex is considerable, with approximately 5,270 businesses in the telecoms and digital technology sectors. Together, they employ over 20,000 people and have brought in an estimated GBP £1.3 billion in gross value added (GVA) to the Essex economy in 2022. The sector continues to expand annually, contributing to growth in other sectors such as manufacturing and life sciences.
