Pax8 enters Denmark to boost Nordic MSP support & engagement

Mon, 8th Sep 2025

Pax8 has announced its expansion into Denmark as part of its ongoing Nordic growth strategy, appointing Birol Ilgøy as Senior Channel Account Manager and enhancing its local Nordic sales team.

This development is aimed at strengthening support for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) in the region and signifies the company's commitment to offering localised enablement and cloud technology to help Danish partners improve efficiencies and reduce operational risk.

Focus on local engagement

Pax8's move into Denmark includes a focus on building robust, on-the-ground partnerships with local MSPs. Birol Ilgøy's appointment as Senior Channel Account Manager is a central element of this approach. With a background in IT and technology and direct experience in the MSP channel across the Nordics, Ilgøy is expected to play a significant role in driver partner engagement and ensuring that the needs of Danish clients are met.

"We see great potential in the Danish market and are investing in building a strong local team to elevate support for local MSPs. This expansion is about more than just presence, it's about partnership and local, long-term commitment," says Harald Nuij, EMEA CEO at Pax8.

Nuij's comments reflect the company's focus not only on regional presence but also on long-term collaboration and proximity to partners. Pax8 believes that direct, local support and dedicated resources are essential to help MSPs utilise technology in ways that are most effective and relevant to their business.

Danish MSPs respond

Pax8's expansion has been positively received by MSPs operating in Denmark, particularly in relation to the company's platform and the local support now available. Tomas Dybdahl, Partner at Data-Link, an IT solutions provider based in the country, noted improved peace of mind and increased responsiveness since Pax8's arrival.

"We are very pleased that Pax8 has now established a presence in Denmark with local sales and technical support. It gives us both peace of mind and faster assistance in our daily operations. At the same time, Pax8 makes it incredibly easy and efficient to obtain licences and manage billing. The platform is smart, user-friendly and gives us quick access to cloud solutions, while also minimising our administrative workload," said Dybdahl.

This feedback highlights the value placed by local partners on tailored, immediate support and digital tools that streamline everyday business processes.

Investment in Nordic markets

The appointment of Birol Ilgøy is part of a wider investment in the Danish and Nordic markets. Ilgøy's experience in the MSP sector is expected to help maintain and expand Pax8's value proposition of delivering both technology and strategic enablement with a local context.

Pax8's strategy across the Nordics continues to revolve around direct engagement and providing resources that are specifically adapted to each country's market environment. The company's investments in local talent and infrastructure are intended to contribute to long-term growth and support for regional partners.

Regional events and outreach

As the Nordics represent an increasingly important geography for cloud technology and MSP services, Pax8 intends to further connect with the local partner community through participation in regional events. These opportunities are expected to encourage knowledge sharing and foster additional partnership opportunities for Danish MSPs interested in expanding their cloud offering and scaling operations.

In addition to the establishment of its sales and technical presence in Denmark, Pax8 is offering Danish partners the chance to participate in briefings and to explore the latest trends in cloud commerce, including the integration of AI in MSP business models.

Pax8 maintains its commitment to driving partner engagement and to supporting MSPs in Denmark and across the Nordics through both direct investment and ongoing outreach efforts.
