Persistent has been named a 2026 Google Cloud Partner of the Year in the Services & Industry Solutions - Supply Chain & Logistics category, recognising its work with customers on supply chain modernisation using Google Cloud.

The recognition reflects projects to update supply chain operations for large enterprises, particularly in manufacturing and retail. These efforts have focused on replacing legacy systems and fragmented data environments with cloud-based platforms intended to improve visibility across planning, inventory and logistics.

Many businesses have been rebuilding supply chain systems after years of disruption exposed weaknesses in forecasting, stock control and transport planning. Older technology estates often leave data spread across separate systems, making it harder to respond quickly to shifts in demand or operational problems.

Persistent's work on Google Cloud centres on creating a single data foundation for supply chain operations. The approach supports the use of artificial intelligence across functions including demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, logistics management and exception handling.

The company also highlighted the use of Google Cloud's AI tools, including Gemini, in customer deployments. These systems are designed to help businesses move from analysis to automated action in day-to-day supply chain decisions.

Google Cloud uses its partner awards to highlight firms that have shown customer impact, execution and alignment with its priorities in specific industries or service areas. In Persistent's case, the category reflects work in a sector where cloud migration and AI adoption are increasingly tied to operational resilience and cost control.

According to Persistent, it has built a sizeable Google Cloud practice over nearly two decades, with more than 50 areas of Google Cloud expertise, several partner specialisations and more than 2,000 Google Cloud certifications.

Supply chain focus

The award comes as technology suppliers compete to strengthen their position in supply chain software and services, where companies are under pressure to secure more reliable access to real-time data. For manufacturers and retailers, that can mean integrating planning systems, warehouse operations, logistics platforms and supplier information into a more unified operating model.

Persistent said its role has been to modernise core systems while reducing disruption to existing operations. It described its approach as combining cloud-native architecture, automation and infrastructure-as-code to support large-scale change in complex enterprise environments.

The work also reflects a broader market shift. Companies are moving beyond stand-alone analytics tools and looking for AI systems that can be embedded directly into operational workflows, especially where delays in decision-making can affect delivery schedules, inventory levels and customer service.

Jaideep Vijay Dhok, Chief Operating Officer - Technology at Persistent, commented on the award and the company's supply chain work with Google Cloud.

"Being recognized as a Google Cloud Partner of the Year in the Services & Industry Solutions - Supply Chain & Logistics category reflects the strength of our partnership and the impact we are delivering for enterprises. As organizations re-architect supply chains for resilience and intelligence, we are working with Google Cloud to modernize core systems, unify data and embed AI across the lifecycle. Together, we are enabling organizations to move from fragmented, reactive operations to connected, autonomous supply chains that sense, respond and optimize in real time," said Jaideep Vijay Dhok, Chief Operating Officer - Technology, Persistent.

Google Cloud said the award reflects the role partners play in delivering customer projects over the past year. The recognition places Persistent among the firms Google Cloud is using to extend its reach in industry-specific transformation work.

"The Google Cloud Partner Awards honor the strategic innovation and measurable value our partners bring to customers. We are proud to name Persistent a 2026 Google Cloud Partner Award winner, celebrating their role in driving customer success over the last year," said Ichhpurani.
