Tim Srock named as new CEO for German tech giant Lobster

Wed, 3rd Apr 2024

Germany's pioneering no-code software group Lobster has announced the appointment of Tim Srock as its new CEO. Srock exhibits an impressive track record, having fostered rapid growth through strategic innovation during his tenure at Siemens' Mendix.

The new appointment is part of Lobster's next phase of impactful innovation and international expansion. Srock, known for his strategic vision and robust leadership, replaces Dr. Martin Fischer, who has been instrumental in transforming Lobster from a small software business in 2002 to a key player in the IT sphere.

Srock's appointment corresponds with the current tech landscape where digital transformation and agile process management have become indispensable for corporate success. Keeping up with the dynamism, Lobster's portfolio provides versatile solutions for scalable digital transformation, AI, and process optimisation. Reflecting on his new role, Srock said, "The Group's customer base is incredible and already spans a range of medium-sized European businesses as well as household names."

Srock's predecessor, Dr. Martin Fischer, expressed confidence in the new leadership, "In Tim Srock, Lobster has found a CEO with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with the digital economy. His track record of scaling high-tech companies makes him well-positioned to lead Lobster through its next phase of expansion."

On Srock's leadership role at Lobster, he commented, "I am honoured to join such an innovative company and look forward to working closely with the talented team at Lobster to raise the bar for no-code hyperautomation. We're heading towards rapid international growth."

Lobster's products, including Lobster_data, Lobster_pro, and Lobster_pim along with the global logistics platform logistics.cloud, connect industry-wide processes, data, and people within one single no-code platform. Srock will be assuming the helm from Dr. Martin Fischer who has transformed Lobster into a prominent IT enterprise since its inception in 2002.

The company is optimistic about its future, especially given Tim's demonstrated ability to adapt and innovate. Oliver Bendig, Chairman of Lobster's Supervisory Board, shared this sentiment, noting, "Tim Srock joining the Lobster Group as CEO sends a strong signal to the market and is a huge step forward for Lobster. His leadership abilities and his strategic acumen will help bring our vision of a connected, data-driven future to life. Tim doesn't just drive innovation. He truly embodies it. And this will be indispensable as we capitalise on new opportunities and accelerate Lobster's international growth."

Lobster's inventive approach in delivering no-code software solutions enables businesses to develop complex business applications without code, amplifying their digital processes, enhancing agility, and reducing costs. With the appointment of Srock as its new CEO, Lobster is poised to make significant strides in its international expansion while fulfilling its mission to create a more agile, data-driver future.
