Xalient boosts digital identity sector status with Grabowsky acquisition
Mon, 18th Dec 2023

Xalient, a global expert in identity and access management (IAM), security, and network transformation, has reported the acquisition of Grabowsky, a frontrunner in digital identity advisory and managed services in Benelux.

By acquiring Grabowsky, Xalient is set to boost its standing in the digital identity sector significantly. This acquisition also expands Xalient's presence in the Benelux region, offering a robust foundation for the company's growth in all European markets.

Sherry Vaswani, the CEO and Founder of Xalient expressed her satisfaction with the strategic significance of the deal, emphasising the joy in welcoming Grabowsky into the Xalient family. Vaswani acknowledged Grabowsky's strong reputation within the industry, both among partners and clients. Vaswani highlighted the alignment between Grabowsky's approach and Xalient's company ethos, emphasising a commitment to delivering customer-centric solutions crafted and executed by trusted experts.

Sherry Vaswani said, "We are delighted to welcome Grabowsky into the Xalient family. Grabowsky boasts an excellent reputation in the industry with both partners and clients. Importantly, Grabowsky reflects our own company ethos to provide customer-centric solutions, designed and delivered by trusted experts."

Grabowsky brings substantial industry credentials to Xalient, including a significant market presence in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg and a strong customer base in both the public and private sectors.

The company's expertise covers identity governance and administration (IGA), privileged access management (PAM), and customer identity access management (CIAM). With these credentials, Xalient is now optimally equipped to provide comprehensive global IAM service with unmatched identity proficiency in the US, UK, and the Benelux region.

Steven Daniels, Managing Director of Grabowsky, expressed his satisfaction with the acquisition: "Having specialised in and delivered IAM technologies and services for the past 38 years, it's clear the IAM domain as we know it today is too siloed for the IT landscape of tomorrow."

"Identity is a crucial tenant of the cybersecurity and networking domains; consequently, managing them is complex and obscure. This underscores the need for a zero-trust approach to govern access for all identities."

"As a result, we are delighted to join the Xalient Group. Our shared values and ambition, combined with the complementary nature of our services, meant that Xalient was the obvious choice to help us evolve on a global footing," said Daniels.

Mark Cooke, Chief Operating Officer of Xalient, anticipates rising demand for IAM strategies and solutions on a global scale: "We are seeing growing global demand for IAM strategies and solutions, driven in part by the increased protection needed around digital transformation initiatives."

"Customers are increasingly recognising the interdependencies between identity, security and networking in order to adhere to true zero trust principles and are turning to specialist providers like Xalient. This acquisition broadens our geographic reach throughout Europe and puts us in a strong position as we embark on our next growth phase," concluded Cooke.
