Aspire & CSS Assure unite to boost UK organisations’ cyber resilience

Tue, 1st Jul 2025

Aspire Technology Solutions and CSS Assure have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at assisting UK organisations to strengthen their resilience against increasing cyber threats.

The collaboration brings together Aspire's managed IT, cybersecurity, and workplace solutions with CSS Assure's compliance, data protection and cyber advisory services. The initiative responds to a marked increase in sophisticated cyber incidents across the UK, which have impacted supply chains and sensitive customer data.

Heightened expectations compound growing pressure on organisations to defend themselves against cyber-attacks, demonstrating robust response capabilities, as well as transparency and accountability in the event of a breach.

Integrated support

Under the partnership, Aspire and CSS Assure will jointly provide integrated end-to-end support for businesses seeking to enhance their cyber defences. Aspire will contribute its managed security service, including its 24/7/365 Security Operations Centre. At the same time, CSS Assure will offer its experience in compliance frameworks, breach management and regulated sectors such as healthcare, finance, legal, and critical infrastructure.

The agreement is part of Aspire's broader expansion in Glasgow and across Scotland, where the firm has established a city centre office to support a growing Scottish customer base. Aspire continues to invest in localised services and consolidated partnerships to address increased demand.

Boosted by financial backing from private equity investor LDC, Aspire has extended its UK presence through recent acquisitions in both Scotland and Yorkshire. According to the company, it now supports over 2,000 organisations nationwide, with ongoing investment to meet the requirements of public and private sector clients.

Industry responses

Adam Veitch, Head of Product and Commercial at Aspire, described the partnership as a response to the technical, operational and reputational challenges confronting customers:

"This partnership builds on the strength of our cyber security services and reflects the broader challenges our customers are dealing with. By working with CSS Assure, we're enhancing the support we offer around risk and compliance at a time when organisations are being tested on every front, technically, operationally and reputationally."

Charlotte Riley, Director at CSS Assure, highlighted the urgency and complexity of the current cybersecurity landscape. She said:

"Today's cyber incidents are complex, and the stakes are high. Organisations need trusted partners who can help them act quickly, minimise disruption, and stay compliant. By working alongside Aspire, we're making that support more connected, more accessible, and more effective, especially for regulated and high-risk sectors."

Industry events

To assist organisations as they navigate these challenges, Aspire will hold a series of Cyber Summits in the autumn across Newcastle, Leeds and Glasgow, collaborating with CSS Assure and other partners. These events will examine ways for organisations to improve their response to incidents, reduce recovery time, and address the expectations of regulatory authorities and key stakeholders.

Among the featured speakers is Tony Sales, identified as Britain's most notorious former fraudster, who will offer insights into the methods used by cybercriminals and common vulnerabilities that are exploited in attacks.

The summits are part of the wider partnership's efforts to help businesses manage growing cyber risks with increased confidence and control.
