Aulumu has launched a six-model A18 case range for Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, adding aramid fibre, transparent, shockproof and vegan leather options to its smartphone accessories portfolio.
The range focuses on different materials, thicknesses and price points, with products aimed at users seeking either slimmer designs or stronger impact protection. The cases are already on sale through Aulumu's own channel, with Amazon availability expected later.
The flagship model is the A18 Armour Shockproof Aramid Fibre Case, which combines 1500D aramid fibre with TPU in a one-piece construction. It is rated for drops of up to 2 metres and includes reinforced corners, a 1.36mm raised screen edge and a 1.3mm raised camera frame.
Priced at GBP £59.99 in the UK and USD $79.98 in the US, it sits at the top end of the range in both specification and pricing.
Material focus
Two other models use aramid fibre in slimmer formats. The A18 Ultra-Slim Gradient Aramid Fibre Case uses 800D aramid fibre and features a grayscale gradient woven into the material rather than printed on the surface.
It is about 1.2mm thick and starts at 26g. Pricing is GBP £51.99, USD $69.98 and EUR €69.99.
The A18 Ultra-Slim Pixel Aramid Fibre Case also measures about 1.2mm thick, but uses 1500D aramid fibre and a UV-treated particle pattern across the woven surface. It weighs from 27g and comes in black and blue, with the same pricing as the gradient version.
These slimmer models reflect a broader trend in the smartphone accessories market, as makers try to balance protection with reduced bulk while premium handsets become larger and more expensive to replace.
Transparent option
The range also includes the A18 Ghost Lumen Transparent Case, which moves away from aramid fibre and uses optical-grade polycarbonate. It has a transparency level of 88% to 92% and includes a glow-in-the-dark effect created through what Aulumu describes as an IML laminating luminous array.
The model also uses a UV-resistant anti-yellowing treatment, a feature intended to address one of the most common complaints about clear cases over time. The Ghost Lumen case is available in transparent and lemon yellow, priced at GBP £29.99, USD $39.98 and EUR €39.99.
Broader range
Two further products complete the collection. The A18 Particle Vegan Leather Case comes in Obsidian Black, Cosmic Gray, Frost White, Abyss Blue and Cherry Red, and is priced at GBP £33.99 and USD $45.98.
The A18 Armour Slim Shockproof Case offers a lighter shock-resistant option in white and blue. It is priced at GBP £44.99, USD $59.98 and EUR €59.99.
The six-model strategy gives Aulumu coverage across several key categories in the premium case market, from thin woven-fibre designs to clear shells and more padded protective cases. It also broadens the company's appeal beyond a single design preference while keeping a consistent visual style across the range.
Founded in 2022, Aulumu positions itself around industrial and cyberpunk-inspired design. Its products are sold in more than 20 countries and regions, and it says it has received international design recognition, including a Red Dot award.
Pricing across the A18 family ranges from GBP £29.99 to GBP £59.99, placing the products above many mass-market phone cases and closer to the premium accessories segment. That part of the market has grown as smartphone buyers have shown a willingness to pay more for materials such as aramid fibre, branded aesthetics and added device protection.
The launch follows Apple's introduction of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, a release that typically prompts accessory makers to refresh their portfolios quickly to capture early demand from new handset buyers. Case makers often use that window to introduce both replacement products for existing customers and higher-priced designs aimed at users upgrading to flagship phones.
Across the collection, Aulumu has emphasised full edge and button coverage, lightweight construction and visible design elements rather than plain finishes. The A18 Series is designed to give users a choice between stronger drop protection, slimmer aramid fibre builds, transparent styling and a leather-look finish.
