Birmingham's TSEG wins Property Tech company of the year award
The Student Energy Group (TSEG), a Birmingham-based tech-led company, has won the title of 'Property Tech Company of the Year' at the UK Business Tech Awards 2024.
The UK Business Tech Awards annually celebrate the best in UK technology enterprises and reward the effective and exceptional use of technology within businesses.
The awards ceremony took place at The Hilton London Bankside on 19 November.
TSEG, situated in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, was chosen from a pool of finalists and emerged victorious after strong competition.
The company was lauded for its innovative technology and its commitment to ethical practices for its team, customers, and suppliers.
Since its inception in 2021, TSEG has positioned itself as a significant player in the Property Technology (PropTech) industry, addressing complex challenges with data-driven solutions.
The company has revolutionised the interaction between landlords and students in the rental market by employing strategic partnerships, prioritising personal meetings, and integrating advanced technologies.
The company's rapid growth and adaptation, especially during the UK energy crisis, highlight its resilience and potential for future success. TSEG aims to reshape the utilities sector and improve user experience through technology that provides real value.
