Mon, 22nd Jan 2024

UK cybersecurity firm Bridewell has confirmed its involvement in the Microsoft's Security Copilot Partner Private Preview. The firm will collaborate with Microsoft product teams to refine and validate new elements of the Security Copilot product, contributing to its further development by providing feedback on product functionality and operations, as well as providing insights into APIs for extending Security Copilot's reach.

The Reading-based company was selected for this task based on its substantial experience with Microsoft Security technologies, its willingness to explore and provide input on advanced functionality, and its close relationship with Microsoft.

Ann Johnson, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft Security Business Development, commented, "AI is one of the defining technologies of our time and has the potential to drive meaningful, step-change progress in cybersecurity."

"Security is a team sport, and we are pleased to work alongside our Security Copilot partner ecosystem to deliver customers solutions that enhance cyber defenses and make the promise of AI real."

Bridewell is keen to share its insights for the betterment of cybersecurity. Martin Riley, Director of Managed Security Services at Bridewell, said, "AI is more than a trend; it’s fundamentally reshaping the cyber threat landscape."

"Our security analysts and cyber threat intelligence teams have seen first-hand that AI is a powerful tool that can be a potent ally for organisations looking to defend against the latest threats. We look forward to collaborating with Microsoft’s product teams, leveraging this initiative to enhance our understanding and application of AI in cybersecurity."

He further added, "This partnership is not just a milestone, but an essential step in offering customers the most advanced and secure solutions in these changing times."

The Security Copilot is the first AI-powered security product that gives security professionals the capability to respond quickly to threats, process signals at machine speed, and assess risk exposure within minutes. By merging a sophisticated large language model (LLM) with a security-specific model informed by Microsoft's unique global threat intelligence and over 65 trillion daily signals, the AI-powered security product presents an innovative solution in the cybersecurity sector.

The firm has considerable experience in delivering large-scale transformational projects in highly regulated environments, enabling organisations to drive strategic change securely.
