Cohesity appoints Olivier Savornin as Group VP of Sales for EMEA

AI-powered data management and security firm Cohesity has announced the appointment of Olivier Savornin as its Group Vice President of Sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Savornin holds over three decades of experience in the information and communications technology industry. He will lead Cohesity's sales and customer engagement operations in the EMEA region, focusing on the adoption of the company's modern data security and management solutions.

Savornin's extensive industry experience across IT, sales, and business development sectors has seen him significantly fast-track the digital transition of global customers. Previously, he served as General Manager of Southern and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Qualtrics, where he promoted new sales across the region and led the sales team to deliver customer-centric strategic pitches. Savornin has also held a series of sales leadership and business operations roles at major firms, including VMware, Samsung, Cisco, and Nortel Networks.

Along with Savornin, Cohesity also announced the appointment of Fraser Hutchison as Aerial Vice President (AVP) of Sales for the UK, Benelux, Ireland, Sweden, Norway and Finland (Northern EMEA). Hutchison brings to the table 22 years of well-honed experience in information technology and leadership roles and will head Cohesity's sales and customer engagement in the dynamic Northern EMEA territory. His primary task will revolve around aiding customers to fortify their cyber resilience by utilising Cohesity's AI-powered modern data security and management solutions.

Fraser Hutchison, the newly appointed AVP of the Northern EMEA region at Cohesity, commented on his vision: "Organisations need to solve serious security challenges while driving new digitisation projects and managing their costs simultaneously. Cohesity has a fantastic AI driven solution package that will allow these companies to strengthen their security posture and to reduce their costs at the same time."
