CrowdStrike expands partnerships to enhance Falcon Next-Gen security services
CrowdStrike, a global cybersecurity company based in Austin, Texas, has announced an expansion of its partnerships and alliances to reinforce its Falcon Next-Gen Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) services. Notable industry giants among these partners include Deloitte, Ernst & Young LLP (EY US), HCLTech, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and others. These collaborations are set to empower the AI-native Security Operations Centre (SOC), protecting customers against threats with unparalleled speed and efficiency.
Cyber threat landscape is evolving, exhibiting greater velocity and sophistication. Breakout times can now be measured in minutes, and concurrently, a growing cybersecurity skills gap amplifies the risk of data breaches – a situation the company addresses. Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, emphasised the necessity for evolution within the field: "Service providers have brought SIEM technology to customer environments for decades. It's time for better: faster response times, less complexity, lower operating costs."
Legacy SIEM systems, service providers have relied upon, now fall short of the demands of today's threat level. The Falcon Next-Gen SIEM aims to offer a solution; linking Falcon and third-party data, threat intelligence, AI, and automated workflows. Tom Etheridge, the Chief Global Services Officer at CrowdStrike, elaborated, "Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and the service capabilities delivered by our global partners and alliances is how we win and scale."
Echoing the sentiment, Kevin Urbanowicz, Managing Director at Deloitte & Touche LLP, said: "As our clients look to simplify their cyber technology, we see Falcon Next-Gen SIEM as an important component of the modern SOC technology stack. Our SOC transformation and engineering teams are already helping organisations around the world to better detect and mitigate breaches with Falcon Next-Gen SIEM as part of our broader cyber services and solutions suite."
Falcon Next-Gen SIEM is now generally available to clients. However, the transformation is not without its challenges, according to Bill Fryberger, Principal, Cybersecurity at Ernst & Young LLP. "There are EY clients in different stages of SOC transformation, facing similar challenges with legacy SIEM," he stated. But Fryberger also expressed optimism about the move: "CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM can make it easy to adopt, operate and scale, and can provide the speed and accuracy organisations need to detect and respond to today's threats."
These developments underscore CrowdStrike's commitment to stop breaches and provide hyper-accurate detections, automated protection and remediation, elite threat hunting, and prioritised observability of vulnerabilities. These efforts are powered by the world-class AI technology that forms the core of the CrowdStrike Security Cloud.
