CrowdStrike teams up with Ignition Technology for UK distribution
Cybersecurity company, CrowdStrike, has announced its latest strategic distribution partnership, by signing up with Ignition Technology in the UK. This new venture aims to expand the availability of the AI-based CrowdStrike XDR Falcon platform to UK businesses through Ignition Technology's extensive partner network.
Ignition Technology, with its focus on specialist SaaS cybersecurity, combined with its successful market strategy, channel development and sales proficiency, will notably enhance CrowdStrike's Falcon platform offering. CrowdStrike believes this approach will effectively address the growing need for modern, sophisticated cybersecurity among UK businesses. Through this partnership, Ignition Technology is demonstrating its commitment to bring the most innovative solutions in cybersecurity to its expanding partner base.
Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, explained: "CrowdStrike puts partners at the centre of our mission of stopping breaches. As customers around the world demand access to the Falcon platform, we will continue investing our time and resources in strategic partners like Ignition Technology who deliver differentiated customer success and deep market expertise." He further emphasised the shared excitement and commitment from both organisations in this collaboration, citing Ignition Technology's outstanding ability to work with cutting-edge technology and efficient go-to-market strategies.
Recently, CrowdStrike announced that it has become the first cybersecurity independent software vendor (ISV) founded for the cloud to exceed $1 billion in AWS Marketplace sales. Furthermore, sales of the AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon platform exceeded the $1 billion milestone also. This strategic alliance with Ignition Technology will aim to support CrowdStrike partners across the UK, empowering them to develop their businesses using their individual knowledge, services and technical expertise.
On the development, Peter Ledger, CEO of Ignition Technology, said: "Our partnership with CrowdStrike is a clear statement of intent as we continue our mission to bring the world's foremost cloud and SaaS cybersecurity solutions to market." He praised the Falcon platform as a formidable addition to their portfolio, offering partners a means of addressing their customers' prime concerns about consolidating costs and simplifying security solutions, while not compromising on the level of protection it provides.
Ledger also highlighted the significant synergies that exist across their portfolio for partners, and noted: "We're very much looking forward to working with CrowdStrike and our partners to create value, drive opportunities and deliver mutual success."
