Evolt & EGYM alliance ushers new era in fitness tech
Tue, 2nd Apr 2024

Evolt, a firm specialising in body composition analytics, has taken a monumental step in integrating technology into the fitness sector by partnering with EGYM, a digital fitness solutions company. This strategic alliance was unveiled at the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) in Los Angeles earlier this month, marking a shifting tide in the industry towards a holistic approach to health.

The partnership marries EGYM's fitness equipment and digital platform with Evolt's sophisticated composition analysis technology, providing comprehensive insight into health and fitness for gym members. The seamless integration allows users to access Evolt's body composition analysis directly from the EGYM platform, empowering them to monitor progress closely, establish personalised fitness goals, and make educated decisions regarding fitness and dietary plans.

The collaboration enables real-time tracking of body composition parameters, including body fat percentage, muscle mass, and hydration levels. It also incorporates Evolt's data with EGYM's workout tracking and progress monitoring tools, resulting in tailored recommendations and insights based on individual fitness objectives and body composition data. The data from Evolt's bioelectrical impedance technology allows for a complete body composition assessment delivered within a minute, proving instrumental in establishing benchmarks for healthy weight management and comprehensive wellness.

Ed Zouroudis, Co-founder and CEO of Evolt, stated, "This collaboration represents a significant stride towards integrating technology into the fitness landscape. By synergising our expertise with EGYM's robust platform, we offer users a comprehensive solution to optimise their health and fitness outcomes."

Philipp Roesch-Schlanderer, CEO of EGYM, emphasised that the association with Evolt aligns well with EGYM's open approach. He said,"EGYM's digital ecosystem is open to products from other manufacturers, with whom we collaborate for the benefit of our customers. Evolt's state-of-the-art technology aligns perfectly with our open platform approach and further boosts the accuracy of our popular EGYM BioAge, a sophisticated fitness and health indicator."

The integration of Evolt and EGYM will be gradually rolled out across select gyms and facilities around the world in the coming months, with aims for nationwide implementation within the current fiscal year. Both companies plan to showcase the integration at the global fitness expo and conference FIBO, which will be held in Cologne, Germany, from April 11th to 14th.

With operations in 43 countries and nearly two million registered users, Evolt continues its global expansion. It caters to a wide range of enterprise customers, from the world's largest gym chains to corporate entities such as health insurer HCF. Furthermore, Evolt has created partnerships with noted international medical universities and allied health professionals.
