House of Marley unveils eco-friendly audio product range

House of Marley has announced a new selection of environmentally conscious audio products, including speakers and headphones.

The audio manufacturer, developed in collaboration with Bob Marley's family, has released several new products designed with sustainability in mind. The latest range comprises the Roots Speaker, Roots Solar Speaker, Uplift Bookshelf Speakers, and Positive Vibration Riddim Headphones.

The Roots Speaker is created using REGRIND recycled plastic and bamboo, providing Bluetooth connectivity with ten hours of playtime. The device is lightweight, fully waterproof and submersible with an IP67 certification. Additional features include a built-in bottle opener and a carry loop handle, as well as a multi-pair mode for pairing with multiple speakers. The product is available in black and cream with a recommended retail price (RRP) of GBP £59.99.

The Roots Solar Speaker also utilises recycled plastic and bamboo, in addition to featuring Bluetooth connectivity and an integrated solar panel. The solar panel offers battery top-ups of up to five hours, extending the playtime to a potential total of nineteen hours. This speaker is equipped with IP67 certification, a built-in bottle opener, ambient light ring with adjustable brightness, and a carry handle. It, too, supports the multi-pair mode and is available in black and cream at an RRP of GBP £99.99.

House of Marley has also launched the Uplift Bookshelf Speakers, which are characterised by their bamboo finish and trademark REWIND fabric. These speakers provide easy Bluetooth connectivity and straightforward setup, enhancing the audio experience when used with House of Marley turntables. The speakers are available at an RRP of GBP £99.99, with a promotional price of GBP £89.99.

The Positive Vibration Riddim Headphones feature sustainably sourced bamboo or FSC-certified Sapele, along with REWIND fabric and REGRIND materials. These headphones offer Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, a built-in microphone for calls, and up to 50 hours of playtime on a single charge. They are lightweight, designed for robustness, and include a USB-C quick charging feature. The packaging is 100% plastic-free and recyclable. These headphones are available in black, cream, and rasta colourways at an RRP of GBP £59.99.
