Infinigate Cloud launches Barracuda email protection plan

Infinigate Cloud has announced that it will offer Barracuda Networks' Email Protection and Cloud Backup solutions to channel partners in the UK, Ireland, and Germany through a subscription-based model.

The subscription service will provide channel partners with access to Barracuda's solutions, enhancing cybersecurity protection. This includes the use of machine learning for threat detection and data safeguarding, with features aimed at swift recovery from malware attacks.

Infinigate Cloud, part of the Infinigate Group, specialises in secure cloud solutions. This development positions Infinigate as the only distributor supporting all four of Barracuda's go-to-market strategies, including resell, managed service provision, Public Cloud (Azure) Marketplace, and the new subscription model.

According to Barracuda's 2023 international study, the volume of email-based cyber-attacks is increasing. The study found that 75% of organisations surveyed experienced at least one successful email attack in the previous year. Moreover, 82% of respondents reported that the cost of the most expensive attacks exceeded USD $1 million on average.

These new monthly subscription services from Infinigate Cloud will be rolled out initially in the UK and Ireland, with availability in Germany expected shortly thereafter.
