And in particular, Gen Z and Millennials are keen to find a cost-effective, simple ways to achieve this."
Gist Mobile's new offering is positioned as a full-service telecoms option, allowing users to combine data plans with international calls and SMS at competitive rates. This provides an alternative to the traditional options of purchasing costly roaming packages from home networks or local SIM cards at destinations.
Aramide Adebanjo, co-founder of Gist Mobile, explained the service's travel connectivity potential: "At Gist Mobile, we're redefining how we travel and stay connected by making communication seamless, affordable, and stress-free. Forget about complicated prepaid plans, juggling multiple phones, and dealing with unreliable WiFi. With Gist Mobile, you are no longer concerned about roaming charges, protecting your privacy, or finding the right sim-card while abroad, we offer the choice, flexibility, and freedom to connect effortlessly around in the world."
Adebanjo further highlighted the service's features: "Our game-changing combo plans provide all-inclusive minutes, texts, and data in top destinations around the globe. For the first time ever, travellers and digital nomads can travel and connect like a local, no matter where they are."
The collaboration builds on Mobilise's experience in developing digital-first telecommunications solutions through its HERO platform, which has been integrated with various service providers' systems and third-party services globally.
