Risk Ledger unveils zero-friction supply chain programme

Risk Ledger has launched a partner programme designed to simplify how consultancies, resellers and managed security service providers work with its supply chain security platform.

The London-based start-up is positioning the scheme as a response to rising supply chain attacks and tighter regulatory scrutiny of third-party risk. Many organisations now need clearer evidence of oversight across complex supplier ecosystems, including subcontractors and indirect providers.

Risk Ledger is pitching its approach as an alternative to traditional third-party risk management, which often relies on periodic questionnaires and separate workflows for buyers and suppliers. Those methods can miss systemic issues, such as overreliance on a small set of providers or dependencies at multiple tiers.

Its Supply Chain Security Platform uses standardised third-party security data and shared visibility between participating organisations. Risk Ledger describes the model as network-first, with updates and insights evolving as suppliers and customers contribute information over time.

Partner Focus

The Zero-Friction Partner Programme targets consultancies, value-added resellers, and managed security service providers. Risk Ledger says it aims to remove complexity from channel programmes, including heavy certification requirements and rigid tiering structures.

The programme includes what it calls concierge co-selling, giving partners access to Risk Ledger staff for demonstrations, technical validation and executive-level discussions with prospective customers.

It also includes a commercial framework centred on deal registration and "first-in" principles, intended to reward origination and protect partner-led opportunities.

A third element is the network effect. Partners bring customers into a wider group of organisations and suppliers that share standardised security information. Risk Ledger says visibility and efficiency improve as participation grows.

Risk Ledger says its platform standardises supplier security data into a consistent, regulator-ready format. It can also map supplier interdependencies and concentration risks across an organisation's ecosystem.

The platform supports overlaying threat intelligence across supplier networks, according to the company. It also aims to reduce duplicated effort for customers and suppliers by reusing standardised information across relationships.

Risk Ledger calls this approach Active Supply Chain Security, framing it as a shift away from one-off information gathering and towards continuous sharing and analysis across connected organisations.
