Samsung unveils AI-integrated tech updates ahead
Samsung has unveiled three new product updates. The announcements include an upgraded version of its voice assistant, Bixby; the introduction of The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7 projectors; and enhanced features on its AI-powered food and recipe platform, Samsung Food.
The first announcement involves the voice assistant Bixby. According to Samsung, the updated Bixby will now feature enhanced artificial intelligence capabilities that improve voice control in Samsung’s Bespoke AI appliances. The upgrade focuses on three key areas: understanding complex commands, recalling previous conversations, and responding to product-related questions. Samsung states that Bixby will offer better comprehension of complex commands based on natural language, thereby making device control easier for users across the Samsung ecosystem.
The second update sees Samsung launch The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7 projectors, which use advanced laser technology to deliver a high-quality viewing experience. The company says these ultra-short-throw projectors will transform any living space into a premium home cinema, boasting 4K resolution and immersive audio. Additional features include AI Upscaling and Vision Booster, which enhance picture quality and ensure clear, vivid images even in bright environments.
The third product announcement centres on Samsung Food, an AI-driven platform that personalises food and recipe recommendations. Samsung has added new features to support users in maintaining their health and achieving wellness goals. Available in eight languages across 104 countries, Samsung Food now offers "Tailored for You" plans that provide weekly recipes and snack recommendations based on users' nutritional needs, dietary preferences, and past recipe selections. Furthermore, the premium subscription service, Samsung Food+, incorporates Vision AI technology that allows users to add items to their Food List by photographing them.
