Sendcloud appoints Christopher Dughieri as new CPTO for Europe

Sendcloud has named Christopher Dughieri as its new Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO), a role aimed at enhancing the platform's shipping capabilities across Europe. Dughieri's appointment comes as the company focuses on optimising the shipping experience for merchants and improving delivery options for consumers.

Sendcloud, known for its comprehensive shipping platform for e-commerce, aims to meet the increasing consumer demand for flexible and reliable delivery options. Recent research by Sendcloud found that 44% of consumers abandon their shopping carts if delivery expectations are unmet, and 53% desire the flexibility to change their delivery preferences post-shipment. This data underscores the growing importance of seamless shipping in maintaining customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Dughieri brings with him three decades of experience, including 25 years in logistics-focused roles. He has held senior management positions at companies such as DSV and Unifaun, now known as nShift. At Unifaun, he served as Deputy CEO and played a crucial role in the company’s expansion through strategic mergers and acquisitions, as well as the development of a diverse product portfolio aimed at various market segments including B2B, B2C, and Carrier.
